Can this plant survive zone 6 climate of Missouri ?

Southern Missouri, possibly. I know they can in Arkansas. Mid Missouri, I would think not. We live in Illinois and plan to grow them inside!

Yes ! It will grow there as long as it's got a sunny location. If below freezing weather is forecasted it would be good to cover it up to prevent damage to the leaves.
