GoSportsSoft Bocce Set Includes 8 Weighted Balls, Pallino and Case, Play Indoors or Outdoors

It's a complete set: four pairs of balls, instructions, a target ball (it has an official name in Italian), and a "Measuring tool" (a piece of string). We threw this in the car and it was a blast on the family beach trip. We played right out on the sand at the Outer Banks of NC. Two cautions: though the colors are bright and the balls are soft, this weighs just as much as a regular bocce set. And our game was delayed when my brother throw the target ball ... and it rolled a meter down a crab's lair. It took us 30 minutes to dig it out! The balls rolls very well on the sand, and the game is still playable, even if the bounces are a little unpredictable. We gave it to my brother's family because we were flying home, and I'm sure they will have fun the next time they are on the shore.

We are frequent bocce players in the non snowy months, and miss it during the winter. We bought these to play indoors, THEY ARE AWESOME! Soft, smooshy, and still heavy, but not too heavy like official bocce balls, great for the whole family. They hardly roll on impact, unless you roll them purposely, they plop when they land if thrown in the air. Love them!

These are great for playing on a variety of surfaces, but beware; they contain something that can damage the finish on some wooden surfaces. I was using one indoors to practice tossing and catching a heavy object and left it on my wooden bench for a few days. The next time I picked it up, the finish of the bench had a sticky spot where it had been, and the ball had a wet-looking spot that hasn’t gone away. I have to wonder why!

Love this quality made game! I was looking for a great game to play indoors with the grandkids so they could take a break from the electronics. This was a big hit and they ask to play all the time. I have an age span of 4 through adult. Even the adults want to be a part of the fun. I was accustomed to the original hard outdoor bocce ball set, but this is a great remake for indoor/outdoor fun. I am sure this will be just as much fun outdoors too. Everything you need comes in the box, bag for holding the balls, and a needle for putting air in the balls if they need it.

Our adult son came home for Christmas, and we finally open the set to play with. Within a couple of rounds we achieved the result in this picture. We had lots of fun even as we completed with each other. The balls have a good weight on them but land soft not likely to damage anything. Hopefully we'll find out how well this set will be received by the eleven year old we bought it for.

These worked great outdoors but we like that they could potentially be used indoors too. The weight was good. The only thing I missed was the sound of a klunk when you hit other balls. But these are definitely safer with kids
