The Secugen Hamster Pro 20 can be integrated with virtually any Android app (the free SDKs are available at Secugen's webpage). So, you can use a third-party app to capture fingerprints and save the images as jpg.

Q: Is this product comparable with MacBooks?

No. It only works with windows and android devices. I was unable to make it work on windows VM running on mac so i finally gave up and just used an old android phone i had. I felt it was much easier to setup and use with android phone
