A few weeks ago I wanted a third for The Bed Room Lamp, Could Not Get it from Com CastSo Glad I'm Getting One Here Because This unit Does Not tie Up a Wall outlet I love That You still have a spare plug with This unit Thank Goodness For Amazon Yes

Time warner cable wanted $69.99, I paid $45 but obviously TWC includes a lifetime warranty at the moment so decide if it is worth the savings vs. warranty. Works great. Easy to install. Go to settings, type in password, click on "lights", click on new light, wait for pairing which takes a minute...then assign the light a name such as bedroom light, living room light, etc. Very easy to do. There is a CentraLIte appliance module for half the price but it won't dim if that is something you can live without. I believe this is 300w. Once the module is paired, you can see how much watts is used, dimming options etc. I am very satisfied.for those who wrote 1 star reviews that it doesn't work. You can't turn on and off the lamp the usual way, It has to be done with the security pad. That said, I had to tape the lamp switch so I wouldn't forget. Also if you play around with the little button on the left side, the lamp would not go on with the security system. Just push the button and you should be fine. Once the light is off, you can move it around to another room and it stays paired.

Works well with incandescent bulbs however I tried it with an led style bulb and had some issue. The unit would not turn the led bulb off completely so the light would continuously flash.

We were able to add two extra lighting controls to our system for about 1/2 what they cost from the security system installer. I can use my remote control app and have the lights on when we get into the house.

Works great with Xfinity home to control my xmas lights and blow up frosty! I have it set to turn on at sunset, and turn off 6 hours later.
