Creative and Delicate piece
Pros:- Beautiful Design- Numbered parts easy to put togetherCons:- Very Delicate so too much pressure can easily break apart pieces or cause chips to come off which may cause splinters- Finished products lid is heavy so it's not as simple as a quick popup on turning the lock- Parts need proper waxing with candle wax for them to work smoothly (instructions in box) so may not be suitable for kids without adult supervision.

It is slightly difficult for kids below age of 12. But it resulted in many evenings of total fun. Amazing and worth the price.

Very tough and needs constant sanding
it is a beautiful box and a great challenge. however, the lazer cutting is not optimal. it is so difficult to fix pegs together you almost always have to sand the pieces. it is very hard and dont take it if you just want to have fun.

A perfect gift!
One of the few awesome build kits that I have brought recently.The gears work perfectly if assembled & waxed properly. This is not for anyone under 16 I guess. Because to fit some parts, it really needs a lot of force, You need strong thumbs.The laser cut boards are fantastic and almost all pieces pop out without much issue, except small pieces.Also, if you find any pieces that are hard to push in, wax them and they will just glide in.However some parts did chip off while trying to assemble, like the key of the box as show on the picture. But it’s not a big issue. Nothing quick glue can’t fix.Lastly, I like the small details UGEARS put in, like when you hold the boards together, you see ‘TB’ engraved on one of the sides.. aka Treasure Box.Took 6-7 hours to assemble. Read the instruction manual once from start to finish before you start to assemble. Read everything! It will make things a lot easier when you actually sit to assemble.I feel the price is on the higher side. Maybe by 20-25% but it’s a lovely kit. A perfect gift
