Blue Power Carbolic Soap,Anti Bacterial Hand and Body Soap from Jamaica, Natural Scented,Mildly Antiseptic Soap, 4.4 Ounce - Pack of 30 (Package May Vary)

While I am giving this soap five stars, it's because at the end of a shower, you feel fresh and deodorized like you should. However, the product, sitting in the soap dish in the shower itself makes the entire area of the house smell like it, which takes some getting used to. It's like old doctor's office meets diaper pail...? My husband had requested I buy Life Buoy, which I told him wasn't even made anymore. Au contraire--never say never until you check Amazon. The reviews on this soap were far better than the Life Buoy people had tried, so for far less $$$, I ordered the four-pack of Blue Power Carbolic Soap. The five stars are ONLY for its deodorizing properties, which I like. Although it's made by Blue Power, it's red, red, red and makes a mess of any soap holder or sponge you place it on. My husband is highly "reactive" to scents and aromas around here---I cannot use scented fabric softener or detergent. But, he hasn't griped at all about this odd smelling soap--I'm the one trying to describe its smell without gagging on my own description. I guess I'd have to say I have a love/hate relationship with this sloppy red soap with the odd aroma. It's only because it leaves you feeling so clean that I allow it in my home at all.

** BE WARNED **As a few other reviews state, if you order a 30 pack of this soap you are most likely only going to receive a box with ONE soap in it. We TRULY LOVE this soap, but it is impossible to receive your case of 30 soaps. I have had to get the item refunded twice, and had one replacement order sent - which again ended up only being ONE soap in the box. It is a great soap, I wish that they would correct this error because we wanted to be returning customers and consistently purchase the 30 pack of soap. I believe we will need to find a different brand or Amazon store, unfortunately.

Found this gem from a reel on social media and glad I did! This has worked wonders for me skin! This is on order rotation for me. No dryness! High moisture and evened my skin tone perfectly.

The soap smells amazing however this is the second time I have ordered the 30 pack of this soap and when it arrives there is only 1 single bar of soap. This is very annoying and I will not buy anymore if this issue is not addressed. It is very unfortunate.

You know how you feel inside your underwear when you haven't gotten a chance to shower for 2-3 days? That feeling is a job for Carbolic Soap. It will put a smile on your face and a spring in your step. Great antibacterial action - there is no finer.WARNING: these are VERY strong and medicinal smelling. Just one bar in the bathroom will be overpowering for people who don't like the smell of it. I like it, actually, but many people definitely hate it. So get a plastic soap dish that snaps shut, for the sake of domestic harmony, please.

Has all the cleaning and disinfecting benefits of carbolic personal hygiene soap . BUT ...TOO MUCH RED YE COLORING . It is hell getting the excessive coloring out of face cloths and towels (if they are light colored ) . Bear in mind carbolic soap is not for everyone . It has a strong (not sweet) smell that may not be tolerable to most users . But it's disinfecting properties are invaluable for front line workers when cleansing . Just use the other brand "island Pride" Sold for about $1.25 a bar at better beauty supply stores .

I had read about the benefits of carbolic soap and glad this was on the market to try, however, it stinks. I believe this to be a quality of the type of soap rather than the brand. So if it's your first time using carbolic soap be aware that it has a very strong ( smelled up my bathroom), weird smell.

We got this soap because I remembered my Dad saying years ago, carbolic soap was good for acne. As my girls both suffer from severe acne and we've tried everything else, we thought why not give it a go. Well, we did. Although it does work, it's not an overnight cure. Or a miracle cure. It's going to take time. What it does is cleanse the skin surface and acts as an antiseptic to lessen the chance of a new infection. It'll take time to clear up but so far, they are looking a lot better than they did using over-the-counter acne treatments.
