Shaxon PYF-69-12, 6 Outlet Power Strip,12 Feet Cord - White

Exactly what I needed! I am about to embark on a Carnival Cruise. Their list of PROHIBITED items includes electrical extension cords that have surge protection. I was having trouble finding a power strip that positively does NOT have surge protection. Most power strips clearly specify if the item DOES have surge protector. But the remainder do NOT positively specify that they do NOT have surge protection. This product PYF-69, like most, did not specify one way or the other. So I emailed the company and they immediately responded saying the PYF-69 does NOT have any surge protection on it. I do wish they had specified that in the product description. It would have saved me some time trouble. But that is the ONLY reason I downgraded my rating to just 4 stars. Otherwise, I am extremely pleased with the quality of the product.

Simply love it! Sometimes I do my crafts in my living room's coffee table. So I use craft lamp. The closest wall plug is 10 feet away. This power strip is perfect for me. Long enough at 12 feet, has 6 Outlets, on/off switch light up red when on. Nice, white color. BTW, could not find it in my local stores. So, thank you again Amazon. I am a very happy customer.

This thing caught on fire and almost burned my store down. There was a space heater plugged into it but if it got that hot, it should've tripped the switch! NOT catch on fire where it's plugged into the wall!! Thank god it happened during the day when people were around or else it would've burnt the whole place on fire.
