I need a longer downrod as this needs to be installed in a room with a 13 ft. Ceiling. Is it possible to get more down rods?

Yes I purchased 4 foot down rods for my fans. I have them installed on a 13 foot ceiling. Go online and google hunter fan down rods. I spray painted mine black. Hope this answers your question.

Can a light kit be added? Other sites selling this product specifically state that it is not light kit compatible.
