Great Skinning Knife!

I love this knife and for the price you cannot go wrong. The Damascus is in fact real, with clear layers throughout the blade. The metal is strong, the handle fits comfortably in my hand, and it’s easy to use.The blade itself can get razor sharp with a whetstone polishing, but, there is always a but, it doesn’t hold its sharpness. Likely because it was tempered incorrectly or perhaps not all. Still a very great knife for the price and one I plan to keep in the family for, hopefully, a couple generations.

This knife really holds the edge even carving wood. My juniper carving is testing the knife’s limits and the knife is passing the test. I’d buy this brand again.

I could not be happier with this knife! It is one of the best knives I've ever purchased, and well worth the priced. The blade itself is a beautiful Damascus pattern and very sharp, I mean very sharp! It has had no problems at all in the cutting and slicing tests I've done so far. The handle is hand crafted wood and feels as if it were made uniquely for my hand. The handle shape is perfect as in it will stay in place no matter how you are using the blade, plus the finish on the wood feels like silk. The blade is well crafted, very strong. The design and functionality of this knife is incredible. This knife has become my daily carry blade. It is easy to tell this was handmade because of the slight imperfections , such as one side of the guard is not exactly the same as the other or the lines of the bevel are very slightly off, but that is what makes this knife a thing of beauty. Even the sheath itself is great. Everything about this knife shows the time and care and dedication that was put into this knife. I will be purchasing at least 3 more blades from Bigcat Roars Knives very soon, probably more but have to pace myself lol. In conclusion I highly recommend this knife and this company, and urge you if you are a knife enthusiast or just need a great knife, to give them a shot. Thanks. The knife it's self is very nice and it looks to be built with some quality. It is very sharp.The sheath however is not great. It does not fit the knife well and the snap to hold it in the sheath keeps popping. You can also see that part of the sheath covers a portion of the handle which will greatly be a problem if needing to draw it quickly.
