We LOVE Bumgenius Freetime Diapers!
We have tried 5 or 6 different brands of cloth diapers, but didn't find any that came close to Bumgenius quality. The hook and loop closure diapers are just as easy as disposables to put on (we also have some of the snap closure diapers, but my husband and I tend to leave those until the laundry needs to be done since they take a few extra seconds to snap!). The fit is snug around the baby's legs and tummy, so we have only had leaks when we put them on wrong or the baby "squirted" during a changing! We like to use the Bumgenius bottom spray with our cloth wipes too. Our son has had some pretty heavy diapers, particularly at night, but these diapers were able to absorb it all. Other diapers needed to go through the dryer twice before feeling completely dry, but these wash well and dry very quickly due to the design of the semi-detachable soaker pads on the inside. We've also been using diaper liners (they look like dryer sheets) to make diaper changes easier. These are biodegradable & flushable, so you can pull it right out of the diaper and not have to spray or dunk in order to get rid of solids before laundering. We tell all of our friends about Bumgenius- they are fabulous! It's amazing how much less it costs to diaper with cloth diapers instead of disposables over the stretch of potty training- definitely worth the initial investment! Not to mention, they are super cute in all of the fun colors and patterns.

but I love the functionality of this diaper
I've had a couple leaks with this, but I love the functionality of this diaper. I have some family who can't handle the snaps very well and these are perfect.

Not built to lasts
We have a set of approximately 35 diapers, about half of which are the previous version (3.0?) and we bought previously used for 9 months, and about half of which are the 4.0s, which we bought new. After 18 months of use by our one child, most of the 4.0s are failing in the Velcro, while most of the older ones are still going strong. The 4.0 diapers use a stronger type of Velcro, which holds well when new but quickly wears out due to the strong pulling. Bumgenius sells a Velcro replacement kit for $1, but it is very time intensive to refurbish a diaper because you have to disassemble the diaper and pick apart all those seams (budget at least an hour per diaper if you are handy with a sewing machine - much longer if by hand.) The elastic at the legs is also starting to wear out, but thankfully that will be an easier fix once we decide to do it. We haven't had any trouble with repelling and the few snap diapers we purchased are still great, but in retrospect, I wish we had avoided these Velcro ones with a ten foot pole.

The best clothe diapers
The best clothe diapers we use!! I absolutely love these. They are the only ones that after a year and a half haven't started to wear out and lose the elasticity in the legs/waist

Worth the money; Best AIO diaper
I really love this diaper. It's super absorbent and fits my daughter well. I especially like the Velcro. I also have the snaps, but her dad thinks the Velcro is easy. I hope to buy several more of this style.
