The pot metal its made of was much too soft so when i tightened it either the screw or slot stripped and now absolutely no pressure is kept on.The mount is solid but the bipod, the main reason I bought it, is as weak as a soy boy who's never seen the gym

I haven’t taken this bipod out to the range yet but so far it seems to be alright. The attachment mechanism used to attach the bipod to the rail adapter seems cheap and not well designed. I used to think I was a pretty smart guy but apparently I’m not...I couldn’t figure out how to attach the bipod to the adapter for at least 20 minutes. I finally got it on after a little bit of messing with the only dial on the damn thing.The spring loaded legs are a nice plus as well as the spring assisted folding legs.Overall it’s not a bad product but it just seems like it’s cheaply made. It’s kind of insulating that I put it on my expensive AR build. I’m Just going to buy a nicer bipod instead of trying to save some money.

Absolutely impressed! I originally bought an NCSTAR bipod and it couldn’t even support the weight of the rifle without flexing. This XAegis bipod is incredibly sturdy and very well made. I would definitely recommend this bipod!

So I just purchased this and was kinda hesitant at first because I read some reviews that said it wasn't sturdy. Let me tell you, after receiving the bipod; it is amazing for the price. I haven't taken it to the range but it is attached very well to my AR.I will provide pictures later and update my review after taking it the range. But my initial review, amazing bang for the buck along with solid build quality.

This bipod worked great for taking my AR-15 to the shooting range. It’s made of heavy duty steel and has a non rusting black finish so no worries if it gets wet.!you can adjust the height of the legs and they fold for easy transportation.

Could have easily earned a 4 star, possibly 5 star but has absolutely no instructions or documents included on use/install/etc and uses star/torx type screws instead of just a standard allen key screw. As a first time bi-pod user they could have saved me 20 mins finding a guide on install, the item comes with a stiff plastic tube over the "feet" that attach to the keymod adapter, as someone that doesn't screw with things before knowing what is going on to prevent breaking things this made it so I didn't remove the tube to see the install feet that attached to the keymod lug making install harder than it needed to be. Also why use the star/torx type screws? The average person is going to have much less ready access to a star type tool than a standard allen screw like most manufacturers use. Include a pamphlet for install that would cost less than $0.02 and use allen screws and your ratings and satisfaction would go up.

At this price, it's a sin to complain, if there are any. I have no complaints so far. It's pretty stable, lightweight, easy to install, operate, etc. Springs are spot on and have plenty of force to keep the legs where they need to be. I will be building another AR soon and I will definitely be buying another one.

I bought this to go on my son's AR15 in a 5.56/223 caliber. It's definitely worth the money and cheaper than most. I have some more expensive one's and I'm very pleased with this one just as much as the expensive bio pods I have on other guns. Everything came with it that was supposed to come with it. Very pleased!
