Bidirectional!

Induce bad stutters in motors while using 3s or 4s lipo batteries.
I can't recommend these for any use over a 2s lipo battery. After proper calibration they make the motors stutter at 3/4 throttle on 3s lipo batteries, and 2/3 throttle on 4s lipo batteries. Not sure if this is due to a lack of being able to program the timing or not. That said they still will spin your motors in a pinch. Though I would bet it will cause a smoked motor sooner or later.

Keep looking.
First one didn't work at all. Second one worked but had a stuttery output and then exploded. Running 2306 1600kv motors on 4s. Threw the other 2 away and got something better.

Good ESC
Works as expected !!! I am using these in a 600mm quad with 4012 motors. No issues, no programming needed out of box.

Works but not for Quad Copters
Ordered these and they were delivered fast by Amazon. They look good, came with instructions and a Thank you. However there is no way to disable the built-in BEC. On most Quad Copters the Flight Controller/Receiver only use and/or have connectors for one power input so only one BEC is needed. In most ESC's it's easy to turn off/disable the unused BEC so it's not using/wasting valuable LiPo battery power.Another thing is the Low Voltage cut off on these, on other ESC's the Low Voltage action can be adjusted or turned off. This is very important on a Quad Copter because you don't want motors just turning Off completely when flying. You would normally have the ESC switch to half power or do nothing and let your Flight Controller (or battery monitor device) warn you of Low Battery power, but not just shut off in mid-flight and cause a crash of your expensive Quad.Although this seller list a ESC without BEC on there WEB site they responded that they no longer sell that ESC.This ESC may be ok for a car/truck/crawler/boat but not for a Quad Copter where only one BEC is needed and Low Voltage action is NOT SHUT OFF POWER in flight. Now starting over looking for good quality ESC's with settings that are appropriate and safe for a an expensive Quad.......
