"The Hottest Sauce in The Universe Without Extract" – this was the hook for me. A lot of sauces claiming to be the hottest tend to gain their heat through the use of the capsaicin extract. Now this is fine you like the flavour of it. Personally I think extract tastes a bit stale and cardboardy. Admittedly you have to dig deep and 'taste' a fair bit of sauce to get to flavour, and only the you'll notice it after the initial burn of the chilli. So for some this might not be an issue, but it was for me. So with this sauce being made from mash you can really taste the fruit of the chilli and not just a contrived heat flavour constructed of some tomato-ey-bell pepper blend with extract. This has the proper heat from the chillies, so a good burn, plenty heat and plenty flavour in the aftertaste. If you're a chilli-head and appreciate the flavours as much as the heat then this is highly recommended. Not SUPER hot, but as the title suggests, near as hot as you get without extract. It may be a bit pricey versus your high street stuff, but use occasionally alongside the Enconas and it's value enough. Enjoy.

Awesome flavour, not for the feint hearted, the amount of heat is incredible and believe me, this one burns at both ends, my old Beatles drummer wasn't as impressed as I was injesting this product. Great on hotdogs and good as a dare at work, place random bits onto a pizza for pizza roulette, you will know when someone finds a piece.

Loved the fruity and smokey flavour profile. That said, I put on a couple of tablespoons over a burger and didn't feel any intense mouth or lip burn. It was hot, but tame. Would buy it again but it's a 6 out of 10 heat.

It takes skill and finesse to marry heat with flavour the way they have in this sauce. It’s every bit as tasty as Fear This (another Hellfire masterpiece) but has the edge on heat. There’s no skill in getting a chilli sauce and adding extract to give an artificial heat, but you don’t get any extract/oleoresin here. The burn is from the chillies themselves and, believe me, there are a LOT in this bottle. An incandescent hot sauce that is delightfully delicious. If you are not a chilli-head use sparingly. Or, if you want to go nuts put some loo roll in the fridge first

Amazing pepper flavour and a very tasty sauce, but the hear level is something else.It's so hot, that even a tiny bit will bring you to tears and give you the hiccups. If you like mild sauces, this is not for you, but if you're eating hot food like Jean Reno is eating wasabi, then this is for you.If you like making stupid bets with your friends, this is also for you.

This is a very nice everyday hot sauce not too hot excellent on chicken wings

Like a previous commenter, I eat a lot of chillies, I have raw habanero or Thai chilli on pretty much everything I eat. I needed something to step up from Encona, which I use as ketchup. This is great! It's got a great flavour and is really hot. If you regularly eat a lot of spicy food and are looking for something extra hot, this fits the bill superbly. The blend of chillies provides a great all round burn. Enjoy!
