A little pricey, but provides reliable performance for your investment
Do you have as many devices as I do battling for HDMI supremity? And why do TV manufacturers still provide so few HDMI ports on their products? It's not a problem if you have a proper amp with 10 HDMI ports to fill to your heart's content (I have a Denon 2500 in the lounge doing just that), but you can't do that in every room where you keep a TV can you?My home office, the box room above the stairs, the cupboard that I've been living in since Lockdown began seemingly decades ago....is just such a room. In it is a 43" LG TV with 4x HDMI ports. One is an ARC return which has a Bose soundbar plugged in, leaving me three spare ports. For seven devices.I use the TV as a third monitor for my work's laptop during the day, and for my personal laptop in the evening. I have a PS5, an Xbox, a Raspberry Pi with Emulation Station, a Nintendo 64 (via a converter) and my Swann CCTV system.I've used splitters before, I still have two of them in fact. But they were glitchy and unreliable. They'd do unpredictable things, sometimes swapping to another device unexpectedly, something not swapping at all when I wanted them to. They'd been in the £20 region, so I thought I'd spend a little more and try to find something more reliable and stable. I also now had a PS5 to plug in, which would test the performance to the limit. The switch box feels like it means business. It feels premium, chunky, like you might expect from a high-end Germanic Hi-Fi manufacturer. I like that all of the ports are on the rear, incomming and outgoing, including the power supply. Other switches I've had have had cables going in all directions and I found it impossible to do any kind of cable management. This switcher though is thoughtfully laid out and you can tuck it away very nicely. On the front are led lights to show which device is currently active. The remote, as is absolutely always the case on things like this, is a bog-standard cheap affair which you'd wish the manufacturers would spend just an extra few notes on getting right. Provided you're pointing the remote straight at the switch box then it does what it's meant to do, but too far off centre of if there are any obstructions then you'll be jabbing away at the remote for some time.In operation, the switch box works brilliantly. I have my two laptops, a PS5, Xbox and Raspberry Pi all plugged in and it's worked flawlessly for the last two months. I haven't seen any picture degredation or refresh issues at all. The TV is on every week day from 8am until late into the night while I continue to work from home, and it's behaved itself exactly as I'd hoped. So, while it was a little more expensive than some alternatives, I'm more than happy to have spent the premium on a product that works.

Best HDMI switch box you can buy!
As the title says!I'm very techy and I needed a new HDMI switch box for my new tv which has 4 HDMI ports but still not enough for my equipment so I did some research and found this one. I have 4 electronic devices needed to connect to the tv plus a sound bar. Included in these units is a recorder with a scart socket which the tv does not have so I did more research to find a scart to a HDMI converter unit. After ordering this from amazon I was able to connect my scart recorder to the converter with a HDMI cable to the switch box. Once all these units was connected up everything worked very well with two units connected up to the switch box. The remote works perfectly! Good solid buttons and they all work first push on them. The switch box works really well and I like the way all the cables are connected to the back of it, I wouldn't like a unit where you have to plug cables in to the sides aswell, why do they make them like that? The only criticism I have with the box is that they don't fit rubber feet to the underside of it, why? I always have a bag of spare rubber feet for these occasions which again I bought from amazon. I never place anything on to a flat surface without fitting rubber feet plus it helps with air circulation to keep things cool. But I still give it 5 stars.

Gets the job done
Product works perfectly switching between my ps4 pro, ps3 and ps2. HDR works as well. If you live outside the UK be sure to buy an adapter as the product ships only with UK plug.

Solid well made bit of kit.
Got this today and so far very happy with it. Its a solid well made bit of kit it has a metal case and is capable of true 4K at 60 fps.All the connections are at the back so it looks tidy on the table, The remote is simple, easy to use and has a decent range. My smart tv has recognised it and displays a symbol indicating a HDMI switch is been used at that socket which is better than my last one which just confused the hell out of my TV.The auto switch feature can be cancelled which is handy if any of your equipment is set to auto update, for example and you're in the middle of a film.Overall I'm happy it would have been nice to have some rubber feet on the bottom to stop it scratching the table but at this price I think its good value for money.

Works faultlessly
I am really glad that I paid a little bit extra for this device. Well constructed with metal case. Works like a dream from the provided remote with my three Windows 11 boxes and two Raspberry Pis.

Decent HDMI switch
With a few caveats, couldn't want more from an HDMI switch really. In order for the auto-switching to work reliably it's necessary to make sure the switch is powered on before the device so that when you turn the device on, the switch can detect it. Sometimes the remote feels like it isn't working, however removing the battery and putting it back in seems to reset it. Small things but maybe they will help someone get the most out of this device. Can't complain about picture quality or sound, using the appropriate HDMI spec cables is necessary though for the device you're connecting - not all HDMI cables are made equal! They should say on the cable what the spec is, some are for SD, some HD, some UHD, etc. Look online for what specs are for each output type.

Doesn’t work with Virgin Media V6
Well made. Auto switching works well. It often doesn't show any video when viewing Virgin media (v6 box). The menus show (& sound) but not the video.I suspect some kind of copy protection kicks in, in error. In the end I plugged in the Nintendo Switch and firestick into this splitter and the Virgin box into the TV directly. This works well and auto switches just fine. Good picture quality.A negative is the power adapter. This really should be USB C powered.
