I think to myself "I want Popcorn" and 3 minutes later I have tasty hot buttered popcorn!
This popper is really convenient. I have a 1200 watt microwave with turntable. First, I added the recommended amount of fresh popcorn seeds, placed the popper at the outer edge of the turntable with the handle at the center. About 2/3 of the seeds popped in 2 1/2 minutes. I tried a longer microwave time but the popcorn starts to burn. Then I put in twice the seeds recommended and the popper was about 75% full in 2 1/2 minutes. There were a lot of un-popped seeds. Now I set the microwave to 2 minutes 35 seconds and after 2 minutes 15 seconds of popping I open the microwave door, deposit about a tablespoon of room temperature butter in the popper lid, close the door, and hit the start button doing this as quickly as I can. The popcorn continues to pop and the butter completely melts down into it in the remaining 20 seconds. I then take the handle of the popper with my bare hand as it is only slightly warm and over the kitchen sink I gently shake the popper HORIZONTALLY (so the lid won't fly off) to mix the butter evenly. I remove the lid and add salt before pouring the popcorn into another container for easy munching. To separate the un-popped seeds I pour the popcorn into a strainer bowl Chef Craft, 5-Quart, Deep Colander, White, 11 by 5 inch and shake it allowing the seeds to fall through. Most of the seeds fall through but some are slightly too big. I'm going to enlarge the holes with a hollow punch. For larger gatherings I have a Great Northern Popcorn Popper (Stainless Steel / Stovetop Great Northern Popcorn Original Stainless Steel Stove Top 6-1/2-Quart Popcorn Popper ) which leaves almost no seeds un-popped (The same popcorn as above.) and is available here on Amazon.com.

I Couldn't Be Happier
I have to say, I am very pleased with this Glass Popcorn maker. In my 1100 watt microwave, I dump about a quarter cup of kernels in, place the lid on and start the microwave. It takes about 1 minute and 35 seconds to cook. I tried putting the butter on the lid so it can coat the popcorn as it pops, but that just seems to make a mess and the butter scorches in the pitcher. If the butter came out of the refrigerator prior to popping the corn, it won't melt enough by the time the popcorn is finished popping. Now, I simply put the butter in a glass bowl and nuke it for about 10 seconds after I take the popped popcorn out. My wife was a little perturbed with me when I ordered this as she already has glass bowls that I could have used. Once this arrived and she saw it, she was quite pleased. It is a bit hot when the popcorn popping is first completed, but I find that I can still hold it by the handle without fear of getting burned. (The manual states that the product will be hot. That is a no brainer. lol) Clean-up is super easy and since I don't melt the butter inside, I can make batch after batch of popcorn with no fuss. I love popcorn and I really love that I don't have to add any oil or anything to the popcorn to cook it. Just dump in the kernels, put on the lid, and start nuking. It couldn't be easier. If I should happen to drop this and smash it or something, I would buy another without hesitation.

BEST EVER ❤️🍿❤️
I am in love with this wonderful popcorn maker. No more messy greasy pan, and the popcorn is delicious. It’s made of strong borosilicate glass (like chemistry class bottles). There was another similar option to consider with a red plastic handle and bottom cover. I chose this one because I think it will last longer. Both parts clean very easily. I use yellow corn kernels. Be careful when removing the silicone lid after popping because there will be a lot of hot steam. After placing popped in corn in bowl I add one of a variety of my favorite oils which I buy here on Amazon. Each has its own distinct flavor ... pistachio, walnut, avocado, or olive oil from La Tourangelle Artisan Oils. I then grind a tiny bit of salt and lots of black or multicolored peppercorns over the popcorn and mix it well. I can’t tell you how delicious this is. The oils are light and healthier than butter. You can also buy a very fine sugar and sprinkle it over buttered popcorn if you want a sweet taste. At this point I actually prefer the oils over butter. I think those that are experiencing issues may just need to experiment with amount of corn and temperature on their microwave. Also, an important consideration is that your kernels of corn are fresh. Stale kernels do not pop well. Buy one. It’s fun, easy and cute! 🍿❤️

Pretty good popcorn maker
Bought this for my wife as a Christmas gift, and we haven’t bought microwave popcorn since. Very easy to use, 4 stars only because it can be kinda tricky to get most of the kernels to pop without burning

Better than Movie Popcorn. Recomend Amish small white curnal for smaller tender popcorn along with Amish Butter sprinkle.
After a few trials and learning how much it takes to pop a full container with butter without burning believe it is the best little invention for this kind of choir. I learned that the popcorn setting on the microwave is there for a reason and that the butter should not be added until you are 3/4 of the way through the poping or it will burn. I takes on and a half cycles on my microwave and once it dose the first cycle I then add the butter and watch and wait for a two sec. count between pops to stop and 98% of the Amish popcorn comes out tender, using the Amish butter flavor salt and a dash of ground table salt it tastes better than movie popcorn.I do not recomend that you set it and walk away, nor try to put the butter in on the first cycle. It took all the lid could hold as I was using small kernel corn and it just took about three trys to get it right. Washes up really easy with hot water and left to soak a breeze to clean. If you decide you want low cal you can always spray it with pam after it is poped to get salt or flavoring to stick, without a spray it is just to plain for me to enjoy.
