Great product for the price
I waited to write a review on this product so I could give an honest review of the product. I've owned this product for many years now and it still works great. The price point is good for what it delivers. It has cooked evenly and I have used it for more than just cooking quesadillas.

Saved my relationship, the environment, and possibly my life!
As a healthy young adult male, I never thought much of my blood pressure before. But when i started dating the love of my life, my world was turned upside-down.She loved getting Quesadillas from Taco Bell. Now i love tortillas, meat, cheese, and vegetables as much as the next guy....but it was few and far between that i'd actually travel to a taco bell. when i did i would rarely use the drive-thru. Mainly because the drive-thru at our local franchise is a narrow road with no escape once you've made the decision to enter. Her cravings for these Americanized Mexican excuses for food would often come late at night when the lobby was already closed. Because of my lack of drive-thru experience, i was unaware that at "peak" non-peak hours, the wait time in the drive-thru was long enough that i could miss an entire episode of How I Met Your Mother. We'd often sit for 10 to 15 minutes in front of the intercom, staring at the menu making choices, questioning choices, and asking deep life questions like "Hello?" "Are you guys still open?" "I can see you in there, why is nobody answering me?" watching as person after person pulled up behind us, laid into their horn and shortly reversed and drove away. After ordering our food, we'd sit around in the drive-thru playing monopoly and counting how many years our car's exhaust has shaved off the life of our planet until we would finally reach the window. At this point, we're so exhausted from our road-trip to Taco Bell that we forget to double check that what was given to us in the bag was what we ordered. Upon returning home we would then discover that either our order was missing items, our drinks were missing flavor, or our tacos were missing meat."WHY???!?", i'd exclaim in desperation, "WHYYYYYYYY????????????". But those rhetorical inquisitions to the universe at large quickly turned into rage as the pressure in my veins began to rise and i'd clench my fists, vowing revenge on the cannabis smoking, purple polo wearing, teenager on the other end of the drive-thru intercom.Car exhaust, drive-thru rage, and hot-sauce packets with mildly amusing sayings; Is this what my life had been reduced to? If this was what it took to be in a relationship with a lover of quesadillas, i didn't know much longer i could go on!Then it happened! My nostalgia for the good old days, before when my pre-meal times were laced with expletives being yelled at me from motorists in my rear-view mirror, was replaced by a "Nostalgia Electrics EQM200 8-Inch Electric Quesadilla Maker"!!!!I could make MY OWN Quesadillas from my own kitchen!!!! :DWith no more nights spent in narrow lanes with my foot resting on the brakes, illuminating the landscape around me with a dim red light that was symbolic of my temperment, my hope for the future has been restored!I'm happy to say that my relationship is blossoming into the love that most couples only dream of! My the idler control valve in my car no longer has to endure extended periods of time pumping smoke into the air in the taco-bell drive-thru. And my blood pressure no longer has my doctor looking at me wide-eyed with wonder making statements like "How are you still alive?" "Like seriously, can i run some tests?" "Do you even care about your body?"THANK YOU Nostalgia Electrics!!

Great product, but...
For some reason, for the first time ever, Amazon decided to send the box by itself and not in an actual Amazon box. So my fiancee saw it and now knows what his Christmas present is. So thanks a lot for that 👍

~Love in a Quasadilla~
*Love, love loveee this product! It arrived in less than four days! We were so happy to open it and start making quasadillas, since we love them so much! It was easy to clean and setup and only took about 10 minutes, including prep time for the ingredients to make a delicious and hot quasadilla!! It also came with a recipe book, wich I thouroughly enjoyed, as it provided creative ways to make quasadillas which I never would have thought of! Quick and easy to prepare, make and clean! Good for a busy person who has little or no time to make a meal or who is constantly on the go! Also good if you're trying to watch what you eat, because you can make healthy ones, just don't eat the whole thing lol I usually make mine with lettuce, tomatoes, chicken, and cucumbers! Also made a hummus one once, it was delish! Buy one!

For the price, it's decent.
It works... but you get what you get for the price of it.... It seals around the outside of the quesadilla but I have to use a pizza cutter to get the actual triangle slits. Heats up quick... is easy to clean... works for what I got it for. I recommend it just because of how easy it is to use and clean for the price paid.

Not really functional, takes up a ton of room and doesn't allow you to make really filled quesadillas.
In theory this thing was awesome. I bought it with every intention to make quesadillas every day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The first time I used it was also the last. It worked well, heated the filling and toasted the tortillas. But the spaces on the grill are so shallow that you can't really put a lot of filling in the quesadillas, kinda pointless. It was easy enough to clean, a wet paper towel wiped away anything that spilled out. Overall it's not worth the money, just make them in a pan on the stove or in the oven. Fill them up as much as you'd like and not have a big grill taking up room on your counters.
