This review is for Nivea Men Sensitive Shaving Skin Care Set, Sensitive Shave Gel and Sensitive Post Shave Balm, 2 Pack. I have been using various Nivea products for many years. I have never run across a product of theirs that I did not like.I have been using the Nivea Men Sensitive Soothing Post Shave Balm for years. It's been the best one that I have tried so far, and I have only maybe tried a half dozen over the years. It really soothes the skin. It also absorbs nicely, and it seems hydrate nicely as well. The scent is very light, so I don't run into any issues of it lingering. In fact, I think the scent is completely gone after a little while. Which I like, because I want my cologne to be what is smelled. Also, a very little of this goes a long way, so a bottle lasts me a long time.I decided to give the Nivea Men Sensitive Shave Gel a try. My normal go to at home is Edge Sensitive Gel, and when traveling has been Tommy Hilfiger shaving creme (which I don't think is offered any more). I have no complaints with my Edge Sensitive Gel at all, but I figured I would try Nivea. I have only been using the Nivea for a short while, but it is very nice. I would say it is slightly better than the Edge. It feels like a combination of creme, lotion, and gel. I put as small of a dollop as I can get (more on that later) on to my hand, lather it up a bit, and apply. A small amount goes a long way. The shave experience is very nice. The razor glides smoothly, and the skin feels nice and hydrated. So, back to getting just a small dollop. It might be that the can is still very new, but no matter how fast I try to press and release the button too much product comes out. Overall, this is the best shave gel I have used so far, and I have no problem recommending it.

this stuff smells good and works good. my husband has sensitive skin and breaks out after shaving. we tried this because of the brand name thinking it would work well and it did. this is all he uses now.

I love that this shave gel is clear and doesn't foam up as much as a regular shave cream. While still providing the same protection and lubrication for shaving.

Found this product a couple of decades ago and have really been using it ever since. Had really bad acne as a teenager, Retin A, peels the whole nine yards and finally Accutane. All that info to express that my face is really sensitive to a lot of creams and things like that.Nivea shaving cream keeps the moisture while shaving because I go with, against, up, down and side to side with the grain of my beard. Really like it as smooth as I can get get it. Plus the bottle lasts forever, about 4-5 months for me.The balm lotion is great for my skin, never burns even right after shaving. Has a very very slight scent. Only downfall is the bottle is glass, has always been and I guess will continue to be. Just be careful if you have a tile floor or marble vanity or something one wrong drop and it's done.Hope this helps...Enjoy.

The product was a trial for the face conditioner after shaving. It stopped a large portion of the irritation after shaving. The gel cream works to prevent drag of the razor that tends to prevent irritation as well.

This product is on the Mt Rushmore of shaving cream. I've never had a cut while using it for many years. I have sensitive skin and this product never irritates it. There are not too many products I would give this much positive feedback too and I have tried many other shaving creams when someone says "if you think Nivea gel is great, well try my...." and they never ever quite measure up to Nivea Sensitive Skin Gel.
