Works as expected on my Tab S7+ and Note 9. I love that this attaches with a cable and fits in the gap of any cases I have. The general construction also feels quite premium and well made.Tab S7+: The audio out and microphone function perfectly even while charging. Fast charging unfortunately does not work, but I'm happy it can charge at all.Note 9: The audio out works perfectly and it even fast charges, but the microphone does not work. I'm not too saddened by this though as the phone already has a headphone jack and I was really just testing the adapter.This device is not perfect, and I would like to have seen full compatibility with all devices. I'm giving this 5 stars regardless though because I understand that it's current compatibility is already impressive and the shortcomings I experienced are clearly mentioned on the product page. Some of the issues may even be the fault of the device and not the adapter. Some features work on most devices and the main feature of providing a headphone jack does not disappoint.

Best USB-C headphone+charger port adapter for Samsung Galaxy Phones. I previously had a similar gadget from another brand. Physically it looked very similar to this one but it stopped working after 1 year of use due to a broken cord right close to the connector. Besides, while listening to music on my wired headphones connected to the old adapter, whenever I wanted to plug in my charging cable, the music would be interrupted for a few seconds. The same would happen if I wanted to remove the charging cable while listening to music.This new model works like a charm. You can plug in your wired 3.5mm headphones which will start playing instantly. Then, if you decide to plug the charging cable, your music won't stop. Besides, it has reinforced edges between the cable inserts and the connectors, making this more rugged and strong. So far, 5 stars. Simple ton use, well built, works perfectly. Great product!

I'm using this on a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. Using the Samsung 30W USB C ac plug, it shows this cable as "Fast Charging", but if I use my own cable without the dongle, my phone charges at "Super Fast Charging" so that means there's a bit of a bottleneck with how fast this can charge. Not too big of a deal.The build seems like it is built to last with the braided cable covering, and the reinforcement to where the cable meets both ends of the dongle to prevent wear at the weakest points.Other dongles with the same function as this one I've seen would have the power and audio ports next to eachother so when connected, the wires would run parallel. This didnt seem to make sense to me as most likely I have the phone in my pocket, headphone wire going up to my head, and the charging cable would probably lead somewhere other than the direction of my head to the location of my battery/outlet. In the long run, we shall see how practical my choice of configuration works out in the Real World ™.I first tested with my Audio-Technica ATH-M50xBT2 plugged in with the audio cable. It sounds decent enough but I feel it sounds a little crunchier somehow. And I don't know what's causing it by it'd occasionally make like a short crackle sound in the right ear once in a while. Moving the cables around doesn't seem to be the cause. Strangely, swapping into my Koss Porta Pros did not make any static noise whatsoever.I do have another inline USB C audio adapter (ddHiFi TC35B USB-C 3.5mm Adapter), and comparing the 2, this one is noticably not as loud and I feel not as good quality but still not horrible. Just decent. Keep in mind that the better sounding adapter I'm comparing this to costs at least twice as much.Overall it works to charge your phone while being able to use wired audio/aux cable. Will need more real world testing but so far I'm okay with this product and happy it does what it says in an okay way.

Outstanding customer service! I initially purchased this adapter so that I could simultaneously stream and CHARGE my phone through the toyota auxiliary port. The first one didn't work (no charging after 30 seconds) I contacted the vendor and they had a new one in my hands the following day.It works flawlessly now. Making a customer problem vanish immediately is one of the keys to a successful business.

I just brought an Ipad Pro and was pretty frustrated to learn that it doesn't have an inbuilt headphone port. I had to buy this adapter so I could continue to use my (wired) headphones. I wanted something that would allow me to continue to charge my ipad, as watching movies tends to eat up battery power very quickly.It took a while for me to get the ipad to register this. It seemed a bit finicky; I had to plug it in, unplug it and plug it back in several times in order to make it work. The sound quality seemed fine, though I did notice a bit of a crackle if I knocked the adapter.When it came to plugging my ipad in to charge it whilst I was using my headphones to watch a movie, this device failed to work. It couldn't do both at once. I don't know if that was intentional, but I brought this adapter intending to use my headphones and charge at the same time! This adapter failed to do this. I sent it back for a refund and will try a different brand.
