Lovely worker placement game
We bought Century Golem Edition a while ago to play with friends and family. The art work is stunning but we are board gamers and play a lot of modern board games with more complex rules. Consequently we found the base game attractive but too simple and not engaging enough. This expansion remedies that. As a stand-alone worker placement game (place your meeple on a space and do the action to collect resources and get points) Century Golem An Endless World is a perfect lighter but strategic game for games night and is very engaging. When paired with cards from the base game it is even better as you get your own tableau of action cards to do even more actions. If I could only get one of the two Century Golem Edition games this would be my pick. Recommended.
