My husband and I have bought two of these feeders for ourselves, and two others to give as special gifts to friends.We own two versions of this product: one model features a solar light; the other, not. I love the one that so gorgeously lights up the night by a window but, after some years, the light sadly quit working. Fortunately, the quality of the feeder and its other parts remain, and both feeders are still beautiful by day and are brought out of storage and used year after year during the hummingbird season.My husband appreciates the easy-to-clean design of the feeder, as he manages all of our feeders. He says that 'easy to clean' is the most important feature to him, but I am also very happy over its very lovely appearance. Since the first purchase of this feeder, he would tell you that this feeder is now his preferred choice for always. (He was the one who ordered the second one for our hummers and would order a third if we ever needed to replace one of our other feeders of a different type.) We are both very pleased with the quality of the feeders, as they were obviously built to last.One suggestion: it would be nice if an ant moat was included with the feeder, but these are easily purchased separately on Amazon and are available in various designs of one's choice. He chose red ant moat that is deeper and holds more water than most; it has a pretty petaled shape like a flower along the edges, and it works well and looks nice with the feeders. The deeper, less shallow ant moats are a bit easier to maintain, as the yellow finches and chickadee enjoy sipping from our ant moats until they are emptied.

I had a larger Nature's Way feeder last year. After I hung it up this year, I tried to swat a wasp away but when I did I barely touched it which caused the chain to come loose. When it hit the grass it broke all to pieces. So I looked for one the replace it on Amazon and found the same Nature's Way feeders like the one I had last year. I saw this one, and thought it was the same as what I had last year. So I purchased it, and was very surprised when it arrived and was a different brand. It is also about half as big as the one from last year, and more expensive. At first I was going to send it back, but then I got to thinking about it. The Nature's Way feeder held twice as much food, but about half of it was wasted every time. The food goes bad within a week, requiring me to make more. So I would make a pot of food, and it would take the whole pot to fill it up. And it has to be filled all the way up for the hummingbirds to be able to get food out. With this one, it's small enough that I don't waste food anymore. I can make a pot of food and put half of it in the refrigerator for later. The hummingbird seems like it just fine. The only drawbacks are that it cost more than the larger one, and the chain doesn't seem quite as sturdy, but it doesn't get all lkinked like the other chain that had straight wire as a chain which was in two pieces hooked together in the middle to connect the two pieces. If you look at pictures of the Natures Way feeder, you'll see what I mean. The chain on the other one was really a problem at times because it would get kinked when I took it down to get the container out. Trying to fill it without moving it was difficult since it was up high and required so much food to be poured into it. This one doesn't have a knob on the top to lift the lid, which is no biggie. All in all I think it was a good purchase. Being smaller, makes it much easier to fill and transport from the kitchen to where it hangs on our deck. The hummingbirds seem to love it as much as the old one. It's really a pretty color too.

The main parts are easy to clean, with no components that will rust.* The silicone seal securely holds the flowers and lid in place, preventing leaks.* It holds about 2 cups of nectar, and the hummingbirds took to it immediately.Final Thoughts: This feeder is as practical as it is beautiful. Its stylish design and durable construction make it a long-lasting addition to my garden. Highly recommend for hummingbird enthusiasts!

The hummingbirds love it!

I love it. I've purchased quite a few hummingbird feeders, this one is my favorite so far. (For the people who say it doesn't include the chain, It does!!! The chain is in a tiny bag taped into a cutout in the outer edge of the styrofoam block it comes in! They probably accidentally threw it away.)1. It's shallow so the sugar water stays fresh.2. Quality glass globe.3. Flowers have quality red color coating, are removable for cleaning and have silicone bases that keep them tight and in place.4. The top has a lid with a silicone seal so you don't have to take it down or unscrew anything to fill it, you just lift the top off while it's hanging.5. The hanger has little resting stations for the hummingbirds so they can perch as they drink.6. It feeds 3 birds so it minimizes the territorial issue.7. The globe lifts out of the holder easily for when it needs to be cleaned.8. Price is reasonable.Somebody put a lot of thought into this feeder!It's very well designed. I think I'll buy another one! And no, I'm not a bot or a fake account, I really bought one!!

Beautiful item. Delivered without hanging chain so I guess I've got to order one separately?
