Great toy for your cat, not very durable.
I bought this for my cat about 8 months ago when I moved into an apartment. I was going to be gone most of the day, so I thought this would be something he would like, and I was right. My cat would sit at this toy and meow until me or my Fiancé would turn it on for him. The problem? It was so dang loud. We tried to train him to not want it during the night and just come lay on the bed, but he found out how to turn it on by himself (the button on the top is really easy to press, he just watched us after a month or two). The other problem is the batteries. I found myself buying batteries once a week. it takes 3 AA batteries, but I would replace them twice a week. I resorted to buying a battery replacer that plugs in the wall, but he pounced on the toy so much that it broke the battery replacer. Here are a few things I would change about this1: the motor. its too loud, and it burns out when your cats claw catches it and they think theyve won the game2: the battery life is horrible. I get that its a literal spinning motor, but i think some design changes and a motor swap would not only make it quieter, but the battery would last longer3: a way to plug it in the wall. Is it too much to ask that I dont want to have the option to spend my life savings on batteries?4: replaceable feathers on the end. My cat decided to spread the love of his toy by bringing it around the house, so i was gluing the feathers back in on occasion.takeaways from thisPros: My cat loved it. He would literally beg for us to turn it on until he found out how to turn it on... Which leads me to the next pro, If your cat is curious enough, they will find out how to turn it on. I think it only stays on for 3 minutes to preserve battery life, so if your cat wants to keep playing, they can turn it back on. this also works great for them playing while youre at work. another pro is that your cat actually plays. it triggers their natural hunting instinct, so when its bedtime, they will crash, leaving you a nice quiet sleep.Cons: its loud, like really loud. its not unbearable, but if they turn it on during the night, it might wake you up. The batteries... OH THE BATTERIES. I have never bought more batteries in my life. I bought a battery eliminator for it, one that plugs into the wall and the plug is shaped like a battery, and it ended up breaking due to the design. also, your cat will turn it on. its a great pro, but also a bad con. again. if your cat decides to turn it on at 3 in the morning, bust out the Philips head and pull the battery, just be ready for the constant meowing for you to turn it back on

Every Single Cat Loves It
The media could not be loaded. I have eight cats, and every single one of them is obsessed with this toy. That includes our old man cat who usually couldn’t care less about toys. The Petlinks Mystery Motion has somehow won him over, and now he joins the younger ones for playtime, which is wild to see.The random movement under the fabric drives them crazy in the best way. They take turns pouncing, circling, and trying to “catch” it. I like that it has multiple speed settings so I can adjust it depending on how active they are. It keeps them entertained for a solid stretch of time, which is hard to find with most toys. It’s held up surprisingly well too. With eight cats taking swipes at it daily, I expected it to fall apart fast, but it’s still going strong. We’ve already bought a backup just in case. If you’ve got bored indoor cats or need something to engage a range of energy levels, this one’s a winner.

Good interactive game.
I bought the first one a number of months ago. They love it. It only lasted a few months. It stopped revolving. The good thing about that one is that it would stay on for a long time. They had a good play out of it each time I turned it on. The second one I bought last month. This one only stays on for a few minutes. It's very annoying. I have to keep going back and forth for them. Also, it's good to get a battery charger. All my regular batteries died and fast. I ordered a battery charger from Amazon. it comes with its own rechargeable batteries and you're good to go. Pt. 2 April 14th 2020The second one that I bought just died today. The batteries are all charged up everything is good it just died like the one before it. So if you purchase this it is not built to last for more than about 3 to 6 months. It's not expensive so that's okay because the kittens absolutely loved it so do the cats. I suppose if it were made really well it would cost more.. just make sure that you buy a battery charger from Amazon that comes with its own batteries that will fit this game this way you'll always have batteries on hand that I charged up and it won't cost you a fortune, there's not a battery life that didn't die quickly with this game so get the battery charger kit with the batteries.
