Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1in 16GB (Wi-Fi), Black (Renewed)

I bought this to replace the same item I bought brand new back in 2016 because it was cheaper than replacing the screen on the old one. Although refurbished you cannot tell the difference. The one thing I really like about this version is you get a working version of Microsoft Office (not the 365 subscription). You will need to update the programs. When doing so use the SAMSUNG STORE, not Google Play, and they will work.The only negative is that the provided cord charges this tablet very slow. Invest in a high speed cable and you will be very happy.I hope this review was useful!

Have never bought refurbished but for the price I figured I would give it a go. Ordered 1 and got it in 2 days, looks like new. Package was generic and item battery was dead on arrival, but once I got some charge on it it fired right up. Everything worked as advertised. Was so satisfied I immediately bought a second unit. This one was in exactly same condition as first on and it arrived next day. Great purchase.

Normally I do not buy a refurbished product and I was pretty nervous when I ordered this. The item arrived 1 day ahead of when it was supposed to arrive. The packaging was old and worn-out but the tablet was in pristine condition...just like new! It worked right out of the box and i had it up and running in a couple of minutes. I have installed Kodi on it and it streams flawlessly. The screen seems to be a bit darker than what I expected, even when i turn on the brightness up but this is only when it is playing movies either on Netflix or on Kodi. If I look at the other apps, in general and the main screen, its bright and nice. One issue is the sound...its not quite what i would have wanted its low...even when i turn it all the way up. The headphone jack does not do a good job. Probably that's why it was refurbished. Anyway, I am happy with the price and the tablet in general. Maybe even an original Galaxy Tab A 10.1 would be the same. It had 16 GB storage and i expanded it with a microSD card for 128 GB (119 GB available) from Samsung (Evo).

I bought this for my wife. Neither of us is computer literate, we followed the quick start guide and screen prompts, but couldn't get it to work. I took it to a computer repair shop, they couldn't make it work either, and told me that it was probably refurbished, had a password on it, and asked me for the password. We never received the password, and our computer professional told us it was junk until we could get the password. Because of the COVID shut down (we are both senior citizens) and extended time, we didn't find out until yesterday that the problem was that we didn't have the password. Would you please send me the password or a replacement tablet along with its password? Until I get the password for it, it is useless, has no value, was useless at the time of sale, and it is junk. -Richard Fischer

Great value for the money. Got this to replace an aging 8" tablet and have been very happy with it for the limited time I get to use it. My wife borrowed this from me while we were on vacation, and now I can't get it back. The screen is sufficiently bright, and has a very good resolution at 1920x1200. Much better than other lower end tablets that still run 800p, which was a big reason for going with this model. Performance is very good, and it takes pretty good photos as well. The build materials on the sides/back are your standard matte black plastic, there is nothing special here. No metal around the edges or faux leather back like on the Pro models. But this also costs a heck of a lot less, and honestly, once you put this thing in a case like 99% of people do, you can't tell the difference anyway. Especially with the upgraded screen on the 2016+ models.. I may need to buy another one for myself, because my wife likes using it so much.

The screen is very clear. Works great. The charging cord was slow. Had to upgrade to one that was faster. All in all, a great product for the price.

I bought the Galaxy Tab A to replace an iPad that was no longer supported. I couldn't be happier. It is light enough to comfortably hold for extended periods of time, yet sturdy enough to toss into a backpack without worry. The design is sleek and pleasing to the eye.The processor is as speedy as I'd like it to be and the 16 gig storage is more than adequate. It connects to even weak WiFi signals mostly always maintains connectivity.My only complaint is that Samsung does not provide regular security updates. Android publishes monthly security updates, but many device manufacturers, Samsung included, only update once or twice a year.The update issue withstanding, the Tab A is an excellent tablet at a great price.
