Woolbuddy Wool Carder

For a beginner with carding I would recommend these to anyone. They are durable from what I can tell. The price was great compared to others I looked at. The size of the brush is perfect for small batches of wool. They work perfect to blend colors together as well.

I was looking for an alternative to the expensive Ashford carders I have used for years. I use combing wool as an activity in my farm education programs, so my carders get a lot of kid use and I needed some replacements. These are absolutely perfect for what I needed. I also ordered an even cheaper (and smaller) type of carders on Amazon so I could compare, and the Woolbuddy blows those cheaper ones away. Definitely worth the extra $10 for the Woolbuddy ones. They are perfect for smaller hands, but I enjoyed using them as well. I can also see these as being great for felters who want to blend small amounts of color.

they are a little loose so I m not sure how they are going to hold up but so far so good. a good value for the money

When you consider that carding brushes are double the cost of these, they are a great starter for anyone who wants to start processing small amounts of wool. I found them to be sturdy and well made. The carry bag is nice, as is the info card with link to video.

Great wool carders for use on Churro wool. Easy to grip and cards smoothly. They are small so it does take awhile to card a full fleece. Relaxing and meditative.

These were well made, being a nice solid wood with curved bristles. Seems pretty solid. It even came with easy to understand instructions, including quick tips for blending colors. Worth spending the little bit extra for the quality and to support a small business.

Unfortunately one of the handles on my carders became loose almost immediately. I'm still using it, but I wonder how long it will stay connected. If it does come loose, I will try to glue it back in place. Otherwise, they are really nice

Wool beware ... After realizing that it works way better when the wool is shaved I found these to be pure wool magic , but let me share with you the day they arrived my husband decided he'd comb out the rams wool to make him look more majestic.. as he approached the ram who I might ad has become a friend of his he reached out with both brushes and and dug into the wool . The ram looked up as to say brush away my friend . So he won't in again this time both brushes deep in the wool and the fun began . As I watched him try to hold the brushes as he frantically ride the ram around our yard trying to to not hurt the prized brushes I bought .. if you want good memories buy these and ask your husband to comb out the biggest sheep or ram prior to shaving great memories

A bit smaller than I was hoping for the price but the measurements were there. They come with a cute little bag.

I’ve been using these brushes to card chien undercoat fur. Brushes are well made and do the job well!

The carders are reasonably comfortable to use. They are extremely sharp and I do wonder how kind they are to fiber/wool.
