Needs someone who knows audio
I plugged these into my tv and they were comparable to my jbl headphones. I plugged these into my computer with srs audio sandbox and I WAS BLOWN THE F AWAYThese literally sound better than my monitors which pull nails out of the walls.Highly recommend for someone who is sick of the same pair of headphones with a different label

Very comfy! Great headset for the price!
Great headset for the price! Can't beat it really. Its very comfy. Most headsets seem to hurt my head or ears after an hour or so of gaming but I've worn these for a full day gaming session without a problem. The mic picks up well. Sound quality is what you would expect from a stereo headset at this price. Imo its better than other headsets around this price range. Especially turtlebeach. Sorry, not sorry.

(basshead) 5 stars
these things slam!!!!!! i have a 1500$+ sound system in my room with 2 12s and ive been looking for some headphones that dont feel like im wearing a plastic bucket on my head, and have a boatload of bass. these ones surprised me so much! i am a huge basshead and i love bass and these satisfy my needs... (but earbuds will always have more bass) awesome!!!

Not great compared to Vengeance 1500
Sound quality is pretty poor compared to a cheaper headset (cheaper in 2016).I replaced a 120$ Vengeance 1500 USB headset with this one. The sound quality is pretty 'not great' compared to the 4 year old headset. Very much not worth the asking price. That said, my 1500 died after 4 years of service so this is what Im stuck with.I am going to update my audio drivers and see if that helps any. Im also running off of MOBO sound.UPDATE: Updated drivers didnt help. Theres just this low toned 'echo-ey' type sound to this headset and I dont like it. Lacks the crisp highs and mids to hear footsteps in games. Things that were crystal clear with the previous headset are drowned out and muffled by the overpowering lows. Tuning the equalizer doesnt help, and Im a bit of a sound enthusiast in automotive applications, so I know what Im doing. Its like it just doesnt have mids or highs and focuses on a lot of lows. Im going to have to buy a different headset because it just bothers me.

Not a very good product and no refunds/replacements
At first it seems like it's the legit headset, but it makes a weird and really bad popping noise. They won't help you and all they will tell you is to talk to Razer about it. This is clearly some sort of scam operation that is selling used, stolen, or damaged headsets trying to pass them off as genuine products. If you just need a headset for a week it may work, but otherwise I wouldn't recommend purchasing this

I loved these.
I gotta admit, I was a little disappointed when I plugged these into my phone. I expected more sound, but I thought to myself that maybe my phone just isn't capable of outputting the sound we all know and love from Razer. So I plugged them into my TV, and boy, was I blown away. The sound quality was much better, and I absolutely love how comfortable these are to wear for long periods of time. Im greatly satisfied with my purchase, and would definitely recommend this set for my friends and family.

You don't need the 7.1 Headset. The 2.2 does the job just fine and you can enable virtual 7.1 in windows for the same effect.
These looks great and sound great. I purchased the 2.2 version so I can use it with a much wider range of devices. Turn on the bass boost under the right earcup for more vibrant sound. These feel great to wear. I have larger ears and I have 0 discomfort. Mic quality is actually quite sound for a headset. It's no desk mic but it gets the job done well and clearly. You'll like this.

Another disappointment from Razer
Okay, So I have had bad experiences with Razer headsets in the past. They end up breaking on me. This product was really good for the first 3 hours I owned it. The initial impression out of the box is great. The build is really solid with steal beams for support and heavy feeling tough plastic. The headset is also very comfortable to wear for extended periods. The issue is with the sound quality. It is very bass heavy. Now these are advertised as bassy headphones. I get that. There is even a switch on the bottom of the right ear cup to turn off and on the bass drivers in each ear cup. The sound is way too thick and muddy with low end. I couldn't really make out directional audio in overwatch and csgo. Now, after the first 3 hours of owning these, my pair developed an audio imbalance. I can only imagine that I just got unlucky or maybe it's because one of the bass drivers is weaker than the other. Either way, the headset is louder in my right side than my left. This makes it unusable in my opinion. After a few hours of use and the drivers are already failing. Such a shame. The only place these things shined were in their comfort, and how they sound with bass heavy music. They are a huge disappointment in every other category. Razer has been improving their quality as of late. Most of their v2 products and newer mice have been excellent and I love them. However, they continue to show they have no real knowledge on how to create a good gaming headset.
