Brilliant
I liked everything about this handy radie/mobile charger. It is small but that makes it easier to take aound with you. I was very surprised at the radio reception it is very clear and seems to pick up lotsof stations. I bought one for my son as well as myself incase of power cutsso we could charge our phones. I'm going to order another for my brother which wil be handy when he's away fishing for the day. Not sure on battery life as i havent used it much as i have just bought it but its very eay to use. Would definatly recommend it

Good little radio
Prior to picking this up, I bought one of the newer models. I was quite happy with that, but I lent it to a friend who decided they liked it so much they had to keep it!That model is a fair bit larger than this, though has a bigger battery and an alarm. Thought I would try this to replace it.This one, perhaps suits me better., it is quite a bit smaller in size (approx. 13 x 6 x 4cm). More portable and easier to find a space in a bag.The other features are largely the same, top solar panel, LED torch on front (alarm is also on this button long press it quite loud too), with the crank handle for winding. 3 frequencies (FM/AM/WR). I mostly use the FM and found the reception to be quite good. As far as the "upgraded" part, this seems to be a Type C charging port (much prefer this to the older micro), you do get a cable included. Just like the larger radio I had from the same company; you have a power bank function (Type A port). Capacity is 2000mAh, not as big but plenty enough for my use. Do remember using as a power bank you get 60-65% conversion rate (out of the 2000mAh). Enough for a top up, not a full charge. Still useful to have this. 4 LEDs for the power level (blue), green lets you know when it is tuned in.Cranking as a power source is usable, you get 15 mins torch and 5 minutes radio for a minute of winding. Red LED shows when it is charging. As for solar it's there as a top up, it would take quite a while to charge just using the panel, but it helps. Otherwise, you can use the Type C port for a charge.Torch output is quite good, triple LED, not huge power but decent (I'd estimate about 50 lumens), you could easily see in complete darkness with this - more than adequate as an emergency light source (it is quite cool in the centre area not a big issue though). Which is what this radio is all about; it's a cost effective neat little portable unit, with 3 ways to power it.For the price I think it is a very nice offering. I like the soft touch feel on the case, and have found the sound output to be pretty decent too. Seems to be find in light rain not seen any issues there. Small point to make the tuner knob is fairly stiff to turn, perhaps by design, it's best to try turning it slowly to avoid skipping the frequency (or use thumb and finger). Minor area for me though, again I'd prefer to have a headphone socket, but otherwise it's a charming little radio and I am quite pleased with it.

Emergency wind up radio/ light
I got this in the Black Friday sales £15 approx.Got it in the yellow, so it stands out. Very fine tuning with the radio, but very clear, very good sound. The light is very good. There is an sos alarm which is very loud. It apparently can charge another device but did not get it for that. I wanted a radio if we had power cuts etc.the size of the radio fits in the palm of your hand. So will be taking it with us on weekends away. It won’t take much room up in the case.My husband was amazed at the quality of sound for the price l paid. I don’t know how long the battery will last on one charge yet, “C” type charger port. Had it on for 5 hours and still going strong. Very please with this and l would recommend.

It works on AM and FM only
1. It's small, lightweight and not expensive.2. The speaker is very tinny but the sound quality is OK when using headphones. Saying that, it's a little difficult getting your headphone jack into and out of the side socket on the radio.3. It charges OK using the supplied USB to "C" cable and the wind-up charges as well. I've not tried solar yet.4. Only time will tell how long it will stay charged when in regular use.5. MOST IMPORTANT: THE ITEM PICTURE ON THE AMAZON WEBSITE SHOWS A SEPERATE CHARGING UNIT WHICH I ASSUMED WOULD COME WITH THE READIO, IT DID NOT! SO WHER IS MINE AMAZON? PLEASE!
