Works well, sturdy
We transitioned from blocks of wood to the Valterra products earlier this year after struggling with slippery blocks of wood in the rain and on a sloped surface. We are very happy as these are lighter, easy to carry, easy to stowe, easy to clean, and they provide good traction.

Tall, Light Weight, Excellent Price
Excellent product, excellent priceWhat makes it attractive is the large base, the deep "socket" on the top and its weight.I considered a standard jack foot that pins to the jack, but this stand eliminates that step of "pinning"It is also a lot taller than a standard jack foot, and that makes it a little more versatile in my opinion. The bright red color is an added benefit (orange would be OK too, I guess)Albeit it says "use on level ground only", I have used it on my inclined driveway without problems.Blocks are not true competition for this jack stand

Great lightweight trailer support but be careful
Light weight and easily stored away. Much better than using concrete blocks, etc. Holds my 22' Toy Hauler without an issue. Highly recommend this for anyone wanting a trailer support that is convenient, lightweight and works without a struggle.Update: Since writting the above review, I've used this jack stand several times. They truly are great on a lever surface, but I had an issue when my camper was on a slightly uneven camping site. Unfortunately I neglected to chock my camper; consequently, while leveling it, the unit rolled slightly. The jack stand was pushed forward and because of the realtively narrow base the jack stand leaned forward. Before I knew it, the whole trailer walked forward pushing the jack stand over causing the trailer to fall, bending the stabilization jack. So I guess the moral of my story is to ensure your wheels are chocked and the unit is stable because these jack stands are somewhat unforgiving. I guess this is mostly my fault, but when using supports with larger bases, I don't encounter such issues.

durable and worth the $$$
I just pruchased my second one. The first one I bought was about 4 years ago and has worked well and met my expectations. I broke a section of the flange base off last summer because I was bringing the trailer jack down onto it and had it propped in at an angle. All of the weight was first absorbed by the flange so.....Snap!! My fault. I continued to use it after breaking the piece off but decided it was time to replace it this year. I think the unit is durable enough and feel that it serves its purpose without appearing too cheap or destructible. We own a 26' Outback Travel Tralier so I assume our tongue weight must be in the 400lb to 800lb range.

Seems sturdy too small for most travel trailers
This thing seems to be pretty strong. I was unable to check it out because the top is really tiny. Seems to be designed more for a bass boat or other very small trailer. I have a smaller travel trailer and there is no way it would work. The jack on my trailer was about four times the diameter of the top of the cone.

Stronger than it looks and very durable
Used this for my Toy Hauler and even in rocks, sand and uneven ground it held the hitch in place and was solid for years.

Works great
This is a small trailer hitch stand and works awesome. I have a 2650 lb 18 ft camper and this works for me everytime and when I store caper at home. Great but
