Make sure you want OTG
These work great, and I've been using them for years. They're frequently returned because they follow the On The Go (OTG) spec, which makes your phone the host, not the passive device. They're good for connecting Midi keyboards (like the MidiCard), cameras, and drives. But you can't charge your phone with this, for that you'd want a regular cable.

Convert your lightning to USB C to use common USB cords
Great build quality, small size and value for money. It makes it a lot easier to use my other existing USB C charging cords with this to charge my iPhone 13 than try to keep the lightning cord around. It saves spaces and charges the phone as usual. Great addition if you use USB C charging cords and still have an iPhone with a lightning jack.

Bad fit, works fine though
I didn't expect much for $10 and I didn't get it. These adapters work but neither side fits very well -- on the USB-C end there's 2mm of play, and more importantly on the lightning end there's 1mm of play. This means the adapter wiggles back and forth quite a bit. This a connector you'll really need to baby. If you just need to experiment a bit with OTG as I did, it's probably fine, but if you're looking for something to use regularly, such as for daily audio use, you will want a connector that better seated. I'm certain this connector will snap in half if pocketed, and will disconnect a lot on the way there. I guess the good news is you get two of them?I just wonder why you'd build something with this much play in it? These connectors are a standard size! Lazy engineering prevents this from being the go-to option.

iPhone will not let you use this with USB drive
I bought this to use with my Lexar Dual Drive so I could put some photos on the flash drive.I have an iPhone 14 Pro with version 18.5.When I plug the drive into my phone I get this message:Cannot use accessory USB Flash Drive: This accessory requires too much power. So I really cannot tell you if this adapter works well or not.

Don't work
They don't work. My iPhone 13 Pro simply says the flash drive I connected requires too much power to work, so it won't read it. I tried several USB flash drives, and they don't work. It seems like the adapters are consuming disproportionate amounts of power!Don't waste your money buying this.
