They get the job done
Used these to splice 4 AWG feeders to a subpanel that I was replacing. These are solid and work great. My only problem was the hex screw is smaller than anything I had available on a torque wrench/screwdriver (3 mm) and recessed far enough that it made access with the screwdriver hard. I ended up using an allen key and tightened it to what I thought was appropriate.

Great insulated connectors
Great product, working on moving a range and this connectors worked perfectly. Decent price also.

Secure connection, space saving, easy to use
These electrical connectors are excellent for connecting 2 large conductors (mine was #6 AWG) within limited space (like a 1-1/2" LBB).

Polaris lugs
Well constructed, good product, exactly what I was looking for.

Good value, careful with torque
Does the job. However, for those who pay attention to torque values, don't follow the instructions. I used the #4-14 size on #8 wire which shows 50in-lb in the instructions. It would be physically impossible to hold the connector in one hand and a torque driver in the other hand and reach 50in-lb. These lug screws are smaller than typical circuit breaker screws, and they are lubricated from the oxide inhibitor. Dry torque on 40A breaker with #8 wire is 40in-lb typically. Lubricated cuts that to 60-80%. The name brand industry standard for this style #4-14 connector with #8 wire specs 25 in-lb.

Worked
Worked as it should.

This is a great assortment of heavy gauge connector styles (3 different types)
This is a great assortment of heavy gauge connector styles (3 different types). They are made with an extremely thick insulative coating surrounding a machined block of metal, insuring that there is a sufficient layer of protection for the connection. Wire nuts are not even in the same class as these connectors.

Great electrical connectors
These are a little pricey (But what isn’t these days!!) however they are a high quality product that work super well. These are particularly good for aluminum to copper wire connections, or just as a straight connector for the same heavy duty wire types that can’t be connected with twist connectors.I used these for a 240V dual oven connection wires, and also for a GE Advantiumto 240V microwave for 10/3 copper to HD aluminum wire. Even though these are a super well insulated connector I still wrapped them with electrical tape to lock the connector and wiring down and to block the wiring holes at the wire-connector side after making the connections. Highly recommend.
