Trend Airshield Pro Full Faceshield, Dust Protector, Battery Powered Air Circulating Mask for Woodworking

My husband is a wood crafter and hates wearing masks. Even when he wears one he gets dust in his mouth. He has terrible lung issues that are getting worse so I really have struggled to find a good one. This fits even with his glasses on and keeps the dust out! He uses the scroll saw, table saw, lathe, sanders, even emptying vacuums and no dust inside. It’s expensive and the filters are exclusive, but the product is excellent.

I just got mine today and have wanted it for a long time. I never did buy it because of it's heavy price tag. However I had a huge MDF job coming up and I spent about an hour Routing and sanding some MDF and knew what a pain in my rear end using the PPE was going to be during this job and stopped after and hour because I finally have had enough. I went right into the shop hopped on Amazon and purchased it with out any thought. I have been using it for the past 4 hrs. I could not be happier. First time you put this on and hit the power button you will want to kick yourself for not getting this years ago. It is Awesome and I promise you will love it.

The helmet filters the dust out really well. I have two major complaints: first is the weight and second is that it needs more adjustability especially if you use the optional hearing protection. Two minor complaints, it needs more padding on the suspension bands (easy fix) and the battery pack takes too long to recharge.

It does everything I could wish for filtering the air, but the only thing that didn't make it 5 stars is that it's heavy, especially if you tend to lean forward and after several hours, my neck is totally exhausted! :(It does filter the dust!

I like using the mask, a little loud inside as stated by others, not as heavy as other brands I have tried, but still something you have to get used to. Also a bit awkward to get a comfortable fit with the earmuffs attached. I am disappointed that I ordered a kit that was supposed to include 10 extra lens protectors and and extra set of filters, they never came with my order. I contacted the seller and got no response so far after several days, so I am not satisfied that I did not get what I payed for and have gotten no response about the error in my order and I can not seem to do anything other than return the item, no other valid ways of contacting seller. I will try with Amazon and hopefully get the issue fixed. Otherwise satisfied but not happy about not getting what I ordered.
