Total game-changer—even for a coffee snob
I’ll start by saying I’m a full-blown coffee snob. I buy my own beans from small roasters, spent months researching the best burr grinder, and even have a CSA-certified coffee maker for my daily brews. So I wasn’t expecting to be impressed by a nitro setup that could work at home. But the NitroPress seriously delivers. I bought it mainly to elevate my cold brew, and it completely transforms even a basic store-bought batch into something that tastes like it came from a specialty café—super smooth, creamy, with that perfect nitro texture. What really sealed the deal is that it doesn’t require disposable cartridges. No extra waste, no running out mid-week. Just simple, sustainable, and way more convenient.I’ve also used it for cocktails—espresso martinis, gin sours, even a whiskey lemonade—and it adds that velvety, foamy finish you usually only get from a pro bartender. The build quality is solid and feels premium, and the packaging was sleek and well thought out.Once you're done, give it a quick rinse or throw it in the dishwasher. Super easy to cleanIf you’re into great coffee or cocktails (or both), and you care about quality, the NitroPress is 100% worth it.

Velvety coffee without draining the bank
I bought this for one purpose. Avoid cartridges and boy does it deliver. The assembly has a lot of small parts. You definitely have to de-assemble all of the packaging but once you do, it’s pretty self intuitive. I didn’t really use the instructions except to know how long I should keep the pump on for.To be fair I have used it for less than a week so I will leave an update maybe after a month of use since I will be a weekly user and sometimes daily user. Will have plenty of time using it to give another update. If you’re interested in saving money I 100% suggest you give this a try. Also! The nozzle is definitely different from other containers or brands. For anyone that has taken fluid dynamics, the design forces turbulence through the flow of coffee. In plain English, more air is forced through the coffee to increase that foam, velvety texture. But alas I have written too much. Updates to come, cheers!

Expensive hard-to-clean novelty
Very expensive and not worth in. The nitrogen foam is nice, but it doesn’t really last very long. The machine and canister are high quality and it works fine, it’s just super overrated as far as improving drinks. It’s also a pain to clean every time since it has several parts to remove. I regret buying this.

Happy with this!
Bought as a gift for husband, he loves it. Makes Starbucks quality drinks at home. He likes nitro cold brew coffee. He makes cold brew at home and this takes it to the next level without cartridges.

If you make bad cold brew this will not make it better
The build and quality of the devise is top tear and does what advertised. This will save you money if you drink a lot of Nitro Cold Brew. No more Nitrogen chargers! I saw a negative review on the nitro press, and it seemed to me they probably didn't know how to make good cold brew. If you do not know how to make good cold brew, this device will enhance its terribleness. If you learn or make a good cold brew at home, it will just enhance the cold brew and make it even better.

I love it!
The NitroPress DS was so easy to set up out of the box and has really stepped up the quality of my morning coffee. Highly recommend!

The premise is good but results are less than overwhelming
The actual dispenser used with a nitrogen cartridge produces a spectacular drink but when used with the recharge device it falls flat and doesn’t stack up. For us it is worth buying the cartridges.

It's OK,
For what it is (food safe air compressor) it is overpriced, however it does work to "carbonate" coffee. The ability to pressurize and keep pressurized without consumables is nice, but there is a definite difference in taste between using N2 or N20 vs this. The bubbles from this aren't as small and creamy as Nitrogen or Nitrous Oxide and it will contribute to oxidation (air is 78% Nitrogen and 21% Oxygen).
