Packaging was very adequate. It did come with good instructions and maintenance information. It's recommended to charge fully first and run it out 5 times for charging. I vacuumed the upper, lower levels plus stairs in my house and it still has a charge. Dyson provides a 3600 battery, this one is a 5000 extended run. I believe with Samsung cells, the longevity will be good. When the vacuum came to a quick halt, we were going to buy a new one. Purchasing this replacement saved us a lot of money.

Works as it should but seems to get much hotter than the original battery.

We looked for a replacement/backup battery for our Dyson V12 Detect Slim cordless vacuum cleaner about a year ago and couldn’t find anything-even on the Dyson home website. Our original battery wasn’t holding a charge as long as it used to. This replacement batter had mixed reviews, but we took a chance. So far, we are very pleased with it. Appearance is identical to our original battery, it fits the charging station and the vacuum. When plugged in, it already showed it as about 83%. It also has the little blue light on the side showing when it is in the dock charging.

Within 3 months battery charge is only lasting 7 minutes. I have a small house and live alone so I don’t use this more than once a week. What a waste on $$$$. I give this products battery life a minus ratings.Don’t waste your money on this.

Works as good as the original / OEM V15battery. I've been able to use it daily for a month in my office. 3,000 ft/sq. I run the vacuum frequently on medium power for a solid twenty minutes and the battery has yet to drop below eighty percent power indicated. So far so good.Thanks for a quality battery.

The stock battery is 3500mah and this battery is 5000mah. My wife would have to recharge the oem battery at least once before she was done vacuuming.we both notice that it takes alot to drain the bigger battery. One small complaint is when I go to attach the battery to the sweeper it fits tighter than the oem battery so it take a little bit more force to connect.

Works great. It actually lasts longer than the original battery.
