Samsung Chromebook 3 XE501C13-K01US, Intel Dual-Core Celeron N3060, 11.6" HD, 2GB DDR3, 16GB eMMC, Night Charcoal

I bought this as a secondary laptop that was easier to carry and less expensive than my gaming laptop. I use this for documents, spreadsheets, youtube, social media, and occasionally streaming amazon prime. Its the perfect size to put in my backpack before a flight. You get the option to reach documents and other work products without being on the network, and it automatically syncs when you get back online. Because it's a google device, it works well together in concert with everything else I use google on (android, wear os, etc). I can schedule appointments on this laptop, and I can instantly get reminders on my phone and my watch. For around 150 bones, you can't beat it. Keyboard types well, mouse track pad is alright too. Remember what this is. It's a chromebook, not a windows PC, if you're looking for a full PC experience...buy something else. If you're looking for a productivity booster in a small package, and already use google a lot, this is perfect. I would definitely buy again.

It's been over a year and my (now) 10 and 6 year olds haven't managed to destroy them. That says a lot. We got 2 of these for Xmas 2019.There's nothing to say WOW about with a Chromebook, it functions exactly as you'd expect and was a great backup when my kids misplaced their school issued CB, which was literally filed on a bookshelf and blended in wonderfully.The battery life is infinite, unless you're scrambling to find that missing school issued device and class starts in 10 minutes, then the battery is Kapoot!Good value. Easy to use. Difficult to break.

It wasn’t to big good quality

I got the chrome book last night and I love it. It's small but works exactly as I need for my use. When I first unboxed, I did as I usually do with computers. I plugged it in and immediately started trying to surf the web and watch a couple of videos. It was extremely slow! Come to find out, you must fully charge the battery first! The directions clearly say that, but I didn't know how critical it was. After a couple of hours, it was fully charged. What a difference! It works great now! I don't know why the first battery charge is mandatory, but for whatever reason it took care of the issue. I am very happy with my purchase

u dun need that much of ram of 1TB. it is just that macrohard win win so handicapped that it needs 500GB to run flash and YouTube. for 4GB ram and HDD 32GB Chrome OS runs way much faster than 8 GB ram HDD 512GB win win machine. Samsung chromebook pros: wise, brilliant, fast, well and practically built, colorful, well poised hifi sound...cons: screen could be bigger, but that was my problem. i made a wrong choice and underate the diameters of the screensize. will buy a 15.6 inch model...

With the pandemic approaching I ordered two of these as our local school system set up for at home study using a partial online interface. Both arrived as promised and have suited this purpose exactly as expected. Battery life is more than adequate for the 6 hours a day they spend using them. Great value for the money.

It's crashed 5 times since we got it in May, 2 1/2 months ago. I've used the recovery app more than my wife has used the Chromebook. I ended up getting her a Windows Acer laptop. I either got a lemon, or these things aren't ready for prime time.I keep getting the OS is corrupted message and have to reboot from a flash drive where I downloaded a recovery boot image from Chrome's recovery app. Takes about 30 mins each time it crashes. Right now it's out of commission because I'm not sure I want to recover again just to see it crash.

I bought this Chromebook for a few reasons. First, I have wholly bought into the Google ecosystem and it made since to add this to my collection. Next, I needed something small and light I could throw in a backpack for business trips. Finally, I needed something reliable I could use for website editing and word processing. It checks all of these boxes very well. There are plenty of apps, and it is overall a snappy little machine. It isn't blazing fast, and if you are looking for anything more than browsing and word processing I'd recommend looking elsewhere. But if you just need a small laptop with great battery life for basic work functions, this is a great option.
