Fortune Multi Use Descaler 100 gm (4 Units x 100 gm)

Here is my genuine review after using it for several times:I have done lot of research in finding the best descaler for washing machines. Finally I got the right ultimate product at a very cheaper price.Fortune descaler is really working great. One packet is more than enough for 7-9 kgs machines.I have tried many other branded descaler. But none of them worked well. Fortune is the best among all brands I have used.Loads of Black, Dirty scaling washed out simply in one use. It's amazingly working.

I am using fortune Descaler for my two LG front loads.- LG front load 2016 model.I use this every 6 month and has water tds of ~270- LG front load 2019 modelI use this every 3 months and has water tds ~1300I have mostly used this descaler since start and this is great. But few things to remember before using any Descaler.1 - clean drain pump filter and remove access water. (Yes, do this before cleaning some leftover chemical can react with descaler and spoil your tub)2 - clean your inlet filter.3 - always put this in detergent tray and not in tub directly.4 - Only and only use with clean cycle, check manual on how to run clean cycle. If you use it with other cycle, washing machine based on less load will not fill proper water and again with concentrated powder in less water will spoil the tub.5- learn how to force open the door before cleaning, in case of power outage you may need it. Try never to fall in such situation, i had such situation and it was a messy affair.6 - while in mid cycle touch the glass to see if it is hot, if not your washing machine heater is faulty, and cleaning will not be proper.

Decided to give this a try and I will not recommend it at all. It has an obnoxious smell that lingers for quite a while after the descale cycle is complete. Clothes washed in the machine post descale also had that awful smell. Also the product isn’t as effective as the IFB descale powder.
