Works perfect for all uses
Not the beefiest lock made by Master Lock, but by far an easy lock to use. As many of the reviews say, this lock is not a luggage lock, or not sized for the majority of suitcase made holes for locks on the zippers/compartments. I like the ability to change the code and the simplicity in which to do so - just make sure you try the lock off of what you are locking first to make sure you have the right combination. I set the lock but apparently failed to verify the numbers were aligned to what I was setting the lock to an viola a worthless lock. Fortunately I had all the time in the world and after tinkering with the lock it opened up and allowed me to reset the combination to the correct set of numbers. As some of the other reviewers have stated, if you push down on the lock while it is at a right angle and move the numbers, you'll change the code, so try it before putting it on.

Perfect for gym locker
Smooth, not as heavy duty as previous model but it suffices, does what it needs to do, need I say more

It's ok.
I bought this lock back in 2018, and for several years, it worked reliably and served its purpose well. It was a dependable solution for securing my belongings at the gym and offered peace of mind without any hassle. Unfortunately, just yesterday, it stopped working – despite using the correct code, it wouldn’t open. I ultimately had to ask the gym staff to help break it, which was disappointing. However, considering it lasted for several years without issues, I can't complain too much. For the price and the years of service it provided, it’s been a decent product. Just be mindful that it might eventually wear out.

Horrible quality, unreliable
This lock was purchased to secure my luggage on European trains. It only lasted like a day or two before it jammed and would not open. I did not change the code. Lock was just stuck in the locked position. Thankfully it didn't happen when I was trying to secure my luggage otherwise I would have been stuck on a train and unable to get off.

Reliable lock for years
I had one of these locks for years and misplaced it recently. I immediately came on here to buy the exact same one. Never had any issues. Nice size and works just fine for the gym locker.Edit: the lock did jam while it was on my gym locker. Initially I panicked but after about 10 mins of fiddling it came open and is working fine. Idk.

Super Dave Seal of Approval
I like these little locks and have used them on many things and not had any real issues with them. Yes they are inexpensive and the ability to change the combination is very convenient and that’s why use them. I don’t use them to protect my gold but simply to keep people looking places they shouldn’t be looking. Sure a hard-core burglar is going to busted it open but if that’s who I’m trying to keep out I have alarm systems and cameras to cover those areas along with high dollar locking systems. These locks are used mostly outside and every few months or so or longer maybe I give them a shot of WD-40 and have never had one break on me. My first sets of locks were bought at a local big box retailer who no longer stocks them but I was able to find them here on Amazon and order more. The reason I’m ordering more is I needed more and having to replace only one of the original locks because the owner of the property couldn’t remember the combination and in front of a bunch of inspectors didn’t want to make a phone call to get the proper combination so he made it look like the lock was broken and busted it off himself.

works ok but isn't very strong
Works fine but I wouldn't use it for something very valuable as I bet a pair of pliers could bend the hasp off.
