Excellent design for core tools.
Overall the MP1 does core tools really well. The leather and nylon both feel strong and durable. Being a skinnier guy, a conventional tool belt won't work for me and this can hold all the core tools with everything else in another bag.As far as tool compatibility goes, it can hold two sets of plier tools in the main pocket, though it seems pliers with more pronounced handles like Klein's journeyman tools won't fit as conveniently. The dikes shown do fit snugly with the hybrid pliers and there is a fair amount of space left at the bottom of the pocket. You could probably throw a few wire nuts down there if you wanted, otherwise the set up shown works really well with a small set of needle nose pliers in the pocket next to the hybrids for quick transition. The pocket in front of the main fits the multi screwdriver but nothing longer like Klein’s extended 6-in-1. The two small pockets on the rear will barely fit a standard Klein NC tester with a little stretching, as well as a Stylus Pro light or the like, while the two smallest ones next to the tape mount can fit thermostat screwdrivers, extended impact bits or a sharpie. The space behind the tape mount will fit a small set of spring loaded Klein strippers with the knife if you remove the grips and spring.I also found that A Fluke T5 tester will fit - albeit snugly - in the main pocket, the cords will be loose. In fact it fits the shape almost as if VPP anticipated it. So it makes for a good meter pouch for the T5.The light is a Streamlight Stylus Pro Reach secured to the material on the clip plate and the small pocket with a second clip from the Stylus Pro for a better hold.I made my own tape chain but the strap that comes with the pouch is good quality. A Nite Ize #4 carabiner also works very well to hold some 33+ tape with a set of jumper wires. A keychain tape measure in place of a full sized one will cut down on weight.Even with a full loadout, this pouch isn't horrible on weight. If you're skinny like me, a tucked in shirt will help cushion your belt. It's a very good pouch and I hope to use it for an apprenticeship.

Another great Veto product
I worked in telecom for 8 years and went through numerous hip pouches. The big ones were always too large and bulky or spilled out tools and connectors. This pouch has a nice drop length allowing for me to wear pole climbing gear and still having the primary tools needed. Easy to use and organize tools. Stabile enough to keeps trips from falling out and the stitching and rivets are well built. Value for money is always great with Veto, yes they do cost more but rather but one and done than buy 3 or 4 of a cheaper product that’ll fail halfway through a shift.

Good pouch, I haven't found one better
Like at least one other reviewer, the snap on the belt loop on my MP1 failed after about 2 months use. I filed a warranty claim. Instead of a pre-paid shipping label, I was given a short list of addresses and instructed to choose the nearest repair facility. $24 shipping on me added to the $70 price tag with $5 more for tax. This is a lot for a tool bag the size of your hand. The reason I didn't give it zero or one star, is that otherwise the tool pac is well made and fairly well engineered. It doesn't roll over and dump tools like the Occidental Leather 5053. It holds screwdrivers well, though it could be just slightly deeper to hold Wiha slimline screwdrivers. The pocket behind the stainless tape clip could be slightly wider so that wire strippers would fit while a tape measure is hooked at the SAME TIME, rather than one or the other.*Update*After waiting nearly a month for a repaired tool bag, my original package arrived unopened. I contacted Veto Pro Pac directly to complain about the service and within an hour of sending the email the president of the company called me to find out more details. James Brooks jumped on it and assured me that the instructions to send the pouch to be repaired at my own expense was an error and that their warranty claim process doesn't work that way. Veto Pro Pac has since called me several times to let me know that a refund for shipping costs are on the way, and that a replacement is on the way. Lesson learned : you get what you pay for; if you do not, contact someone who can do something about it.

Great pouch
I’m a commercial electrician and this is by far the best small pouch I’ve ever owned. It’s made well like all Veto products. Well worth the price.

Great product!
Just got it. So I hope I don’t have any issues with the button like some people have said, but it looks and feels good. Seems sturdy.I like the option to use the belt loop and/or the pocket tab. The tab also acts like a kickstand. So having it in my pocket and being able to pull it out and set it up to where I can just reach for my tools instead of having it attached to the hip is a plus- depending on the task!As you can see, I used the screwdriver holder for my elevator door pick, and it’s perfect. Has perfect size slots for all my tools! If anything happens, I will update my review. Until then, I’ll keep it as is.

This pouch is very small
The only tool pouch I'll haul around on my belt. Strippers, screwdriver, volt sensor, pen, pencil. A great pocket left over for linesman or dykes. The opposite of a tool bag. Perfect for me.

Just view the customer review photos. WOW this thing is built right the first time! The low profile belt loop is ideal for everyday/all day use, the pocket flap is ready to run & gun. Roomy, versatile, comfortable & reliable. Just might even upgrade to the M2
