7506 Burner Tube Set Replacement for Weber Genesis Series 1000, 1000LX, 2000, 2000LX, 3000, 3000LX, 4000, 4000LX, 5000, 5000LX

These are an easy install and work great. My old ones were rusted through so these fixed the problem. My grill is a 1985 Weber Genesis 1000 red top.

Replaced the burners on an older Weber Genisis 1000. Major difference from the original is the center burner. The mounting tab on the center is horizontal and not vertical as original was, this actually stumped me for a little while. Additionally the original center burner had perforations on both sides of the burner. This one only has perforations on the top so heat is not as hot in center of grill as it used to be. Not a huge issue but had to adjust cooking style somewhat.

I have a genesis 1500 and this installed perfectly. Firstly when we purchased the home this grill was already hard mounted to our concrete patio with natural gas line and I have never changed any parts on it before. I did some research and realized it was a very well built grill and would be expensive to replace so I found no need to change anything. After 9 years after we bought the home the flavorizer bars and grates were showing their age, what was left of them.I went to price out parts on Weber and they were ridiculously high. I scoured Amazon and found these. Read a few reviews that stated the crossover bar was short. I can't speak to their models, however I can guarantee that it fits perfectly, almost tight, on the Weber Genesis 1500. I didnt even have to mess with the vents. I left them alone to see how the flames worked out of the box and had perfect flame on all bars. Honestly for the price compared to the "factory" replacements, these are by far a better buy. If they last me just 5 years it will still be a value and from the build I see no reason why they won't. The build is sturdy enough and feels like OEM!

The burners were supposed to fit a Weber Genesis 1000LX gas grill, but it wasn't even close. The center burner comes with holes on one side, not both sides like the original burners. When you try to install the three burns you will discover the crossover burner that ignites all three burners is 1/2" short so it constantly falls out. To make it worse, the center burner is too long when you place it into the bracket that holds it to crossover burner. Since it's positioned too long the two outside manifold gas tubes cannot be inserted into the other two burners.The seller on Amazon states the burners will fit numerous Weber models which I have serious doubts since they don't fit the Genesis 1000LX as stated.Do yourself a big favor and don't buy these and spend hours taking your burners out, to find out they don't fit!

The cross bar was about an inch short. It still reached all three burners, but could easily fall out. Instead of sending it back I found a solution (see picture). I used screws to make sure it could not fall out. I just installed them and tested them. I was able to heat the grill to over 550°F (my thermometer only went that high) with no problems. So far I would recomend this product for an older grill like mine.
