output power attenuated at max volume?
Update: it is a lack of power to the amp issue, the amp does have an anti clipping feature built in which is what I had been noticing. To me I feel that is a negative, however I know it's better for the amp and for the subs this way. I really haven't got around to finishing this setup, and my voltage reading is based off of a blutooth OBD II reader, when dipping around 13.9v and under on heavy bass notes it will turn the volume down to prevent clipping. Long story short the amp is good, it requires the big 3 (battery, alternator, wiring) to be done if you're going for loud, which most of us are when buying these. It's just annoying because it turns the volume down for a time (idk how long or what the trigger is to reset) so turn the entire system down and find that max volume to clip point and don't go there until you can hold 14v+ at the amp. Otherwise you may have a kind of wobbly bass volume when playing it loud and it's annoying. I am techy, but fancy tech can be fancily annoying...I noticed the power at high volume seems to attenuate with certain bass notes, I can get very nice loud clean bass when I turn it up. But it seems to only last a few moments before it the bass seems to turn down. The only thing I can think of that I haven't tried yet, is a high output alternator. In my past experience with this hasn't been needed with other amps, maybe they were garbage and this just requires more and attenuates when the caps drain in the amp. I plan to throw a high output in... if that doesn't fix it then this amp is going away, the review will be updated to reflect the outcome. Also noted the exact same "feature" on a JBL Flip portable speaker. Same company, same "feature", different product.

This might be my last amp everrrrrrr!!!!!!
Insane performance!! I have it hooked up to my Polk audio mm subs and they bump out the basssss!! I have to turn it off before I park cause I don’t want to advertise the goods!! But yeah it’s good enough to battle with neighboring cars bumpin’ their rap or just when I’m cruising with my older new order tracks like “bizarre love triangle”. If you like to play house or trance you gotta get this amp with the Polk audio subs or maybe infinity kappa subs. You’ll be happy either way. I am.........

This amp is a BEAST...
This amp is a BEAST! it pushes my L7 15” 2000 watts 1000 watts rms subwoofer with no problems and I have the gain turned down almost all the way. If your looking for a amp on a budget get this one, I previously had an Audio pipe 1500 watt amp and it was trash! My L7 fried that amp in a day don’t waste your money.

Best Deal on a Beast of an Amplifier
Talk about amazing deal for a high end amplifier. I had to lower the input gain to barely get it down to 800RMS for my sub. This thing just wants to put out power going well past 1000w w/o distortion. Its also extremely efficient and easy on the vehicles electrical system. The new ones have dynamic bass boost. Don't expect a remote with these, but I didn't want one as I integrated it into my factory MMI.
