What a speaker
I love this thing. It looks incredible, it sounds incredible (after some running in - don't despair that it sounds meh when you first plug it in) and the Spotify connect integration is great. It's a proper high-end premium product. It blows Sonos kit out of the water for sound and looks. It's also physically pretty large, it's a bit of furniture. And it's VERY loud (and doesn't clip or distort). If you want to reproduce that club / gig vibe in your own home, just buy a couple of these and away you go. But just be aware your neighbours (and their neighbours) might not be very happy with you!Bad points - the software is pretty shocking. The Alexa "integration". Well it isn't. I've had a load of Sonos kit and being able to do the whole "Alexa play..." or "Alexa turn it up" is great. I thought given this "integrates" with Alexa you could do that - but sadly no. What you can do is open the Audio Pro app, press a button and then ask Alexa to do something... If I'm going to open the app, I may as well press the buttons myself! Pointless. It's only airplay 1, not airplay 2.The mulitroom can be quite flakey. It is also most definitely not cheap - but it's not supposed to be.Overall it's a bit like a toddler. It can be incredibly annoying and frustrating, but the way it makes you smile and the way you end up loving it makes it all well worth it.

Wedge it in a corner!
Amazing sound, amazing speaker, abit pricy but honestly the sound it gives is amazing.......however after having it a while now there's definitely a fall in the design. Twice now the top speaker, which is completely separate and just sits on the sub, has vibrated off the sub and on to the floor when the speakers being played loud, which is kind of the point speaker. The first time when this happened the sub cable was ripped out of the back of the top speaker breaking the centre pin off leaving it deep in the socket. As the speakers warranty had run out Audio Pro we're not interested in the slightest and offered some ridiculous advice of using a drill to get the pin out?! After some research I found alot better method which was successful. I replaced the cable with a longer one should it happen again. Which it did today, again found the top speaker to the side of the sub even though after the first time I had wedged it in the corner. Thankfully there doesn't seem to be any damage this time and I have wedged it back even more than before, which is a real shame as the drumfire not only sounds great it looks good too so to hide it in a corner seems silly, but it's literally the only way of preventing the top speaker bouncing off.I've told Audio Pro of this fall in their design, all I got was "thanks for the feedback", which is great after spending 600 odd quid!

Loud, bassy and glitch app
After doing a little research and reading many reviews I went for the Drumfire which I now regret.Yes, it is very loud. Yes, it looks good. Unfortunately for me that's where it ends. The bass is too powerful for the tweeters to cope with and as a result anything played sounds bass heavy. The app is awful for connectivity, dropping for no reason and difficult to connect again. The worst part for me was when the top speaker vibrated off the bottom one snapping the connecting lead INSIDE the top speaker leaving it useless. Returned to Amazon for a refund and now looking at Naim MuSo 2nd Gen.V. Disappointing.

Wow..... just wow!
“Drumfire”…. sounds primeval doesn’t it! This thing kicks out 300W, so you’re not just hearing the sound you’re feeling it.I’ve loved this from the second it arrived, it’s well engineered, easy to setup, and the sound/bass is simply stunning. Saw some reviews regarding the app that nearly put me off, I’m glad I stuck to my guns, as it’s been faultless.

Comes to life when pumped - but one design flaw
Wanted a wifi speaker to replace HK soundsticks 3. At low volume it didn't really stand out that much compared to the soundsticks, which sound awesome anyway and therefore not bad at all. However, when pumped up loud, thats when the fun starts. Can hear this throughout the entire house at a pretty loud level (not painfully loud) - but good enough to get a party started and go on and on. Also at high volume you appreciate the separation between high, mid and bass. There is one issue though: when pumped up the bass makes the whole unit vibrate and the top section starts to move and can fall off. This is a silly oversight by Audio Pro and I seriously hope they can give a DIY easy fix to people who have spent £600+ on this. Hence 4 stars.I am happy with the sound though and I am currently considering another Drumfire to make it stereo and add space to the audio because with one its still focused on an epi-centre.On a daily basis I only run the top speaker and not the sub - it kinda solves the issue with vibration from the sub. But in a party situation you def need the sub - but beware of the issue described above. The pre-set buttons are a great idea and usually I hit one of those when I need some music in background.I'll write a more detailed review in the future but happy to answer any questions. BTW, I bought off another site which was cheaper than Amazon.UPDATE 29.12.2018: So had a bit more time to listen to it at party levels (being Xmas etc). I fixed the top part sliding off by using some white tack on the four feet - make a small ball and stick it on the feet and then place it on the subwoofer section. The balls flatten and you get a secure fit and the tack creates a nice circular fitting which looks part of the product (you can only see it if you peer into the gap between the top and bottom bit).Overall, highly impressive and immersive sound (especially when cranked). All guests commented on the bass and how you can really feel it. I guess this is true to Audio Pro's motto that they want their products to "make you feel the music".I now save connection to the sub for parties and wow factor rather than daily use, for which the top bit is more than sufficient and can hold its own.I'm looking for an excuse NOT to get another one and the only one I can find is space - but happy to get rid of a dining table to accommodate :)Put back up to 5 stars as I am over the top bit sliding around.
