Very loud, works great and easy to set up.

I was hesitant about this purchase based off of the reviews. It’s loud AF!! You don’t have to mount it up, it’s portable as well. The set up was very easy and I might double down and get another one.

The product worked as expected. It was loud enough, easy enough to use once I read the instructions, seems like it will ward off intruders or be a good "New Customer!" alert. The problem that caused me to take away one star is that my hands were allergic to some residue covering it and they were slightly burning, so I washed it with a soapy paper towel and rinsed and dried it the same way and whatever it was that was irritating my hands seemed to be gone. The other problem I had was that I smelled a strong odor of burnt electronics, or a leaking capacitor as soon as I opened the package, so I think this thing will be unreliable in the long run. I opened the casing and did find a capacitor covered in some hardened, brown stuff, which could have been glue, but I've never heard of gluing in a capacitor, so it may have been that it leaks all over the board. If this thing fails I will replace that one capacitor and all will be well, but only time will tell.

It has very limited use. For example as a deterrent-alarm, it does not have an audible signal when you triggered it. When you break into its sensor zone, it kind of clicks but you need to pay attention to notice. I would have liked something that signals "you are in my zone and I am about to scream if you do not leave." The sound is kind of loud. It is kind of flimsy in that it can be picked up and broken by a baddy. It is good as a door chime to alert you that people enter your door/store but to switch between alarm and chime function you have to open the bloody thing and switch. It is ok at $10.

UPDATE : To whom it may concern....I bought this unit in 2015 as a security feature for an outdoor medical cannabis garden. I was thinking twice when I saw the low price of this unit but 2 years, and 3 crops later this is STILL my "go to" for security in the garden. It'll wake me out of a dead sleep inside my house 100ft away and is very sensitive. I am woken by the raccoons foraging in the berry patch regularly but better safe than sorry right ? You can use them outdoors as long as you build little "birdhouses" for them, but the point is they can save you BIG bucks, and are obviously worth the price if I can get through 3 crops with it ! GREAT little unit !!! Going to buy more myself !UPDATE 2018 ; This little bugger just keeps working ! Best 20 bucks I ever spent. It's been through just about everything but just keeps going, and going, and going......LOVE IT !

This alarm is loud and easy to install, HOWEVER, it is extremely low quality. The buttons don’t always register a press and it will randomly go off, when it does go off you have to put in the code several times before it will finally stop, all while likely damaging your hearing. Simply put.. probably a much better idea to spend your money on something that will work reliably.

Super easy to activate! Loud alarm, if it’s tripped by unknown movement - which is good!

Have 3 of these for a couple years now, very simple to use and work well. Very loud and batteries last me about a year. They detect at about 15 feet, so they’re good for typical room entrances.
