I am a big fan of chai tea and heard about this brand from a hipster friend of mine and decided to give it a try.The design of the container and individual tea bags is very beautiful and elegant. It’d make a great gift during the holidays.I don’t actually have a great sense of smell and usually have to put things right under my nose, and was pleasantly surprised at how much I could smell the tea right when I opened the container. Very bold, strong cinnamon flavor.I was initially afraid it might be too bitter for my liking, but the actual taste of the tea was pretty light and very easy to drink. I had to control myself and not binge drink it all right away. I had it plain without any cream or milk, and found the taste to be refreshing. There is a drink my Korean friend gave me several times at her house called sujeonggwa (persimmon paunch), and this tea reminded me of a sugarless version of that tea.Definitely recommend if you are tired of Tazo or other basic tea brands.

The aroma is very pleasant and tastes great. The bags are good quality as well.

A person close to me mentioned that I needed to try this tea and I am sure glad they did. I have had it in my house for around a week and have had about 4-5 hot cups of tea so far. I really like it. First..has a beautiful aroma, i love the way it makes my house smell. The Second thing I love is how strong it can be. I at times loves strong tea and it can be good strong. You can also have it lighter but i like it strong. I usually have mine with a little bit of cream and that is my favorite way with this tea. This saffron chai tea is deliciously fragrant and soothing. My favorite way to enjoy it is as a latte with honey and cinnamon. The saffron flavor is gentle and smooth. Additionally the tea is packaged so beautifully that you will want to save and decorate with the container! Best of all is knowing that buying this tea is supporting women in conflict zones!

Very strong chemical flavorTahmina Saffron Chai Tea: $19.58 for a 12-count tin at the time of reviewAs I’ve mentioned many times in other reviews, I’m a big tea drink. Lately, I’ve been in the mood for a good chai. So when I saw this blend featuring saffron, I was intrigued. Saffron is one of those spices that can evoke a strong reaction (one way or the other) in people but I happen to like it, so this seemed like a great fit for me.*What I liked*:The decorative tin that it comes in is more than just a place to keep the tea fresh. It has a lovely blue wrapper with a exotic pattern on it. It would make a nice gift.It brews down into a deep golden brown and it emanates a fabulously spicy aroma while doing so. I hotly anticipated my cup while I was waiting for it to finish brewing.*What I didn't like*:Unfortunately, what brewed was… not great. It had a pretty strong chemical flavor. I’m not sure if I got a bad batch or what. But I brewed two cups from two tea bags to be safe and both were quite chemical-y tasting.The cost per tea bag is about $1.58 as of the time of this writing. That’s pretty darn steep per cup. Due to the chemical taste, I didn’t not try to re-steep it to see how it held up a second time around. But even if you could eek another steep out (less likely for a high-caffeine black tea) you’re still looking at over 75¢/cup. And there is no way you get a great or even good third cup out of this (as the packaging implies, saying ‘36 cups.’*The Bottom Line:*I was sorely disappointed by this brew. I suspect I just got a bad batch, as it has so many positive reviews. As such, I didn’t penalize the score too much. Three stars out of five. But the sad reality is that at $1.58/cup I’m not willing to spend $20 bucks to find out. I would not order this over again.

Broken seal, damaged bottle, arrive open! Terrible.

I just had my first cup and omg it was so delicious! Flavors amazing and you can taste every bit of it. Not weak just AMAZING! I’m not big on writing reviews but I had to write on this one. Worth the cost

Love this company and everything they’re about. This product really stands out. Delivery came just as expected, the packaging is beautiful and the taste is superb. Rich flavors of ginger, cinnamon and saffron that blend together perfectly. It is earthy with a hint of sweetness. Highly recommend!
