Easy to install and a marked improvement on original.I have the Ender 3 pro and one of the minor improvements between it and the standard 3 model is the filament feeder guide. However this metal unit while a little fiddly to construct is much smoother in operation and much MUCH easier to load. I did not use all of the kit - just the big bits : the housing and lever - since the rest was fine. This has now worked pretty solidly for a week post installation and is running sweet as a nut.One thing to remember: the original has a cable feed guide and this unit does not include it. I used the spacer from the original and a cable tie as you can probably see from the picture. A lot of the guides on YouTube suggest printing a cable clip before you take the filament guide to pieces. I did not have the option since the darn thing had died and the filament would not feed so my version might be a little more Heath Robinson: but it works just fine.

I recently replaced the plastic extruder that comes with Ender 3 as it had almost worn out. I've been running it constantly (about a week) and I've had no issues with it at all. I received clear instructions with it but there are plenty of youtube videos as well if you get stuck. The instructions do note that the drive gear comes with sharper teeth for gripping your plastic better but you shouldn't need to adjust your e-steps. I would recommend after replacing the gear and the extruder to still perform a calibration (again videos on youtube) just to check this as I did notice I did have to change it from factor settings on the Ender 3 (however this may have been motor related).

Good upgrade but could do with a washer in the kit ,so under the arm want rub on the main bit ,easy fix i had a 0.05mm washer on hand,but worth the ugrade from the stock plastic one ,remember to calabrate your esteps again ender 3 v2 is easy in the lcd panel ,look on youtube how to.

Easy to install, although it was initially difficult to get one of the holes to line up.Improved extrusion in printed parts and have no visible holes or under/overextrusion.Well built, with a strong spring. With this £10 upgrade my Ender 3 v1 creates prints as detailed as my Ender 5 Pro

This item was very easy to install and definitely value for money I have actually come across other replacement parts made the same and am thinking of replacing them aswell

After upgrading my printer I needed to change the filament path, this was an easy way to move the stepper from the extruder and place it on top of the cross bar, using the PTFE tubing to connect this to the extruder so that it removed all the weight and no backlash from the extruder axis, my prints are now much better, and can increase the speed of the printer with no ill effects.

I'm convinced that anyone who owns a 3D printer is more than used to tinkering - even so it would have been helpful to provide an instruction sheet - I reckon I could knock one up in a couple of minutes but it would have saved me looking on Youtube. The metal parts are fine and grip the filament nicely but the pneumatic connector for the Bowden cable just did not hold the cable securely. No amount of tweaking (recutting the end etc) would make any difference so I have now ordered a new high quality Bowden cable and some replacement pneumatic connectors before I can get up and running.

Cela faisait des semaines que mon imprimante était HS, et en changeant l'extrudeur je me suis rendu compte que le plastique s'était fendu, ça marche bien mieux maintenant, enfin !

Lo cambié por el que venía de fábrica en mi Ender2 y la verdad que va muy bien. Para montar me sobró algún tornillo y pensaba que era cosa mal montada pero era que había uno de más.Tampoco he notado un gran cambio en la impresión,pero va bien

Leider ging bei meinem Ender 3 Pro nach 5 Wochen kaputt!Für mich ein hochwertiges Ersatzteil!Ein kleines Manko ist jedoch wie die feder eingebaut wird!Aber jetzt funktioniert wieder alles und habe auch keine Druckfehler oder anderen Probleme!Und man sollte darauf achten ob rechter oder linker Arm , also ob der Extruder rechts oder links Startet!Sonst ist es Spiegelverkehrt und passt nicht!Mfg E.J.
