Pro Carry Desert Eagle 50,55, 357 Leather Gun Holster LT RH IWB Black

I was skeptical that this would actually fit the DE XIX with top rail, but it does. The muzzle does protrude about 1/4" from the end of the holster, but the front sight remains covered. I have been carrying my DE XIX in 44 mag all week under untucked button down shirts, in appendix carry, with zero issues. To be honest, I have much smaller handguns that I don't carry appendix, somehow this huge pistol is more comfortable? As others have mentioned, the leather is a bit thin, one handed re-holstering isn't going to happen. I would say worth the money.

Now I'm not going to sit here and tell you to CCW a desert eagle, but this holster, while basic, is perfectly designed for attempting to conceal such a large firearm. Nice soft and thin leather provides the grip necessary to keep things in place without adding bulk, and the orientation of the gun is set just high enough that you can sit down without the barrel clanking on your chair. The holster is much nicer made than I expected it would be for the price.If you're the type that has trouble concealing a single stack, then you're going to be disappointed, but if you're experienced with concealing full sized firearms, this will let you carry your desert eagle under a loose t-shirt. For the price, you really can't go wrong with this.

The leather is really supple. So much so that I'm a little concerned with how well it will wear over time (-1 star just because of that concern). With that said, it's a great fit for the Mk. XIX with top and bottom rails and I can actually carry IWB rather comfortably both seated and standing. Again, due to the very soft leather, re-holstering is a bit of a trick but that's not that much of a problem.
