SCREW TOP VENTED FUEL GAS CAP FITS JIFFY ICE AUGER, APPLY TO TECUMSEH ENGINE

This cap fit a 1971 Sears Ted Williams 4.5 hp outboard, so it should also fit some eska and game fisher models also that have a 1.5 inch (at the top) opening. This is a genuine Techumseh service part, that is made in the U.S. The seal seems to be a very flexible rubber (unlike Chinese rubber) so time will tell how it holds up as far as cracking goes. This is a perfect fit if you need a replacement or spare. The only thing I don't like is the vent button in the center of the inside of cap it is made out of plastic and I would prefer aluminum or brass (only for longevity). For 15 bucks for a part that you can no longer get, its a win for me.

I been reviving my 22 year old Strikemaster Mag 2000 ice auger this year. The original metal fuel cap got bent while banging around my portable flip over ice fishing shelter causing the air vent to leak. This new plastic cap is much sturdier and the vent seals tight when closed.

This replacement gas tank cap fit perfectly on my Jiffy STX Model 79 Pro Ice Auger. I am well pleased as it in fact was an OEM Tecumseh part. (cap itself has 1.5" inside diameter metal insert...same as the original part that came on my auger)
