Heavy-duty Mic Stand
I'm a professional keyboardist and i bought this along with the Ultimate Support Ultimate Electronic Keyboard Stand (HYM100QR) for use with my MacBook Air for live performances. The stand is VERY sturdy, has VERY low-profile legs, and is heavier than any other mic stand I've ever purchased before (K&M??). MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THIS: IT'S TOO TALL FOR SITTING MUSICIANS. I ended up purchasing a Ultimate Support Microphone Stand (PRO-R-T-Short-T), taking off the telescopic boom arm and adding a 5/8" rod extender (approx. 3 in.) to the base pole. Finished the connection with a Ultimate Support QR-1 QuickRelease Adapter. One Caveat: the Ultimate Support QR-1 is not as solidly built as I would like. Triad-Orbit is the way to go for extremely solid microphone clip-release adapters.

A great stand for any vocalist!
You get what you pay for. Don't settle for a $20 stand that will eventually break. This stand is tough and great for the road!

Works for a while
Worked fine for a while, but head came loose. Emailed customer support (supposed lifetime warranty), and never heard back. Fine at a budget, but junk otherwise.
