I am bug bait😒..lol Biting bugs LOVE me but dont bother my hubby.😒 i also have terrible reactions to bug bite as they swell up and are painfull for days and bugs are drawn to biting my neck, ears , face head area that is not covered...i am a avid gardener & outdoors person and was unable to enjoy the outdoors anymore😢...till i got this hat!!! First hat like this i have tried and it was comfy, easy to wear and see thru AND kept my neck and head area bug bite free as i did my morning weeding and watering 🙌🙌This hat is a godsend for me and i am able to enjoy my outdoor activities again😁🙌🙌🙌

netting is a tiny bit thicker than I imagined but when it comes to bees I think I am more than happy with that. This is a good hat to take hiking preadventure you run into bees/gnats/mosquitoes. The best part is how it's sewn into the today of the hat at the top so nothing can get in from top or bottom.

The media could not be loaded.  It is well constructed but missing design details that would have made this a 5 star hat. There is no way to tighten the hat band for a better fit. For me this means that the hat slides around my head when I move, and it slips over my eyes if I look down. The band and brim could be stiffer to support the netting, and something to hold the net above the brim when you need to gather it away from you face. I couldn't get it to stay wrapped up like in the picture. The to-narrow sweat band flips out and down and is top is not stitched to the hat. All of this means the hat is unwearable for me--a total frustration while gardening or kayaking. It says "for women and men" and I'm a woman. I didn't check the dimensions and measure my head before buying.

I purchased these "just in case" and sincerely didn't hope to use them. But in the end, we did need them and they successfully kept a mom and two teens from going nuts on a mosquito filled camping evening. I ordered hats in different colors so each could easily find their own. How comfortable are they? We laughed as we "forgot" we had it on at dinner --can't eat THRU it, lol. Dad had his own but was envious of ours... the wide brim keeps the a comfortable distance from your face, making it cooler and easier to forget about. I am back to order Dad his own.

I have a black over the hat net I have been using for 7 years when hiking. I saw this and thought I'd give it a try to combine the hat and the net in one. This is not an attractive hat but a functional hat. I was afraid the crown would be too tall. I was relieved after receiving the product that the crown is actually kind of shallow.The lining is mesh and the vents are functional. The net is attached to the brim. The brim has no wire to hold the shape therefore the weight of the net pulls the brim down a bit. The net is long enough to let the hands inside to eat and drink (some nets you can't do that) when taking a refueling break when hiking.The dark nets offer better vision. They also cut down glare when the sun is bright. I don't need to wear sunglasses when I have my net on, a relief not to have sunglasses on my face when it's hot and clammy.Overall a decent investment for the price.

I bought one for myself a few years ago and wear it daily to work in the garden in Georgia heat and mosquitos I just bought a second as a gift for a friend who is taking a new job in forestry services. I know it will be a game changer for her

This hat is easy to wear. Keeps all bugs and flying insects away from me. The netting reduces Sun glare and most importantly when I am gardening, it keeps the dirt off my face!

Bought this hat in khaki for my husband, good fit and very well made. Excellent value

These are a comfortable hat with a generous fly net that folds up onto the hat rim. Very good quality!
