IONICT04RS Replacement Stylus for iCT04 Cartridge, Pack of 2

I recently acquired a used Ion TTUSB10 turntable. The only thing it needed was a stylus for the attached GT cartridge. I really wasn't expecting much in sound quality but was pleasantly surprised when I received the replacement stylus. It works great and I'm very pleased with it and have a second one included as a spare! I am now set to record my vinyl, which I am doing as I write this.

These replacement needles are just as pictured. They are the needle and the red plastic holder. They are not the complete cartridge. Installation is straight foreword and easy but it may be a problem is you didn't want to remove the cartridge from the tone arm first. Documentation with the replacements stated they were "diamond" needles. The documentation with my Ion turntable gave a short life span for the needle. No such statement with these but they look identical. Great product for the price. I'm glad I found it/

I purchased this to replace my turntable stylus and it worked out perfectly.

Ther needles were received on a timely basis and work as expected. What was unsettling was that three weeks later I received a duplicate invoice from what appeared to be the same company, indicating they were shipping the needles. Price was twice what I was originally charged. I replied with a copy of the original invoice in a sharply worded email. I never heard back from them, nor was my credit card charged for the duplicate order and the order appeared never to have been shipped. I was wondering if someone broke into their order system and was phishing for information. Most disturbing!

With all the different models and styles, one has to choose carefully to get the right stylus. I wore my original out playing 45's from a friend. They were in terrible shape and they destroyed the stylus after a week.My 45's and LP's were better preserved and the sound on the new stylus is more than satisfactory. The new model fit perfectly. Glad to have found it.

The needle is too big. Functionally it works, but whenever the sound in the groove gets loud this thing hops all over your record like a Mexican jumping bean. These guys are likely trying to unload a batch of these things that didn't get built to engineering specs.The cartridge fits but the needle is too big. I took a picture and attached. My old one is on the left and the new one is on the right.

It fits the cartridge, sound ok, good replacement. But the only thing i'm dissapointed is that was not described that is an OEM or Non Official product.

New-2PK REPL Needles - ION-ICT04RS My purchase arrived sooner than expected. It two needles and included simple directions for installing on my turntable. Tt was exactly what I needed. I would recommend this item and this seller to anyone in need of needles for their turntable. I know that I will most certainly keep this dealer in mind if I again need to replace my needle.
