Pentair154494 O-Ring Valve Adapter for Tagelus and Triton C-3 Sand Filters

This is a 5.75" inch diameter x 1/8th inch o-ring. It may work in Tagelus Filters manufactured before 2010. My Pentair Tagelus Sand Filter was manufactured in 2014, but the user manual that came with it was a 2011 version that calls for this o-ring. I learned that it was too small. I contacted Pentair and the emailed the current user manual that requires a 6.25" inch o-ring. Armed with this information I ordered the correct o-ring and it worked perfectly. Make sure you have plenty of silicon grease to place on the o-ring and in the o-ring groove of the tank valve adapter so as it sticks in place until you have it screwed together.

Didn't fit

Ordered this o-ring on the 8th and received on the 11th. Wasone of the fastest deliveries Ive experienced on line. O-ring worked as planned and have no issues. Very impressed with the service of the seller. Went out of there way to insure quick delivery at no extra charge because our pool was down and needed this o-ring. Now my children are back swimming and enjoying the summer. Great job by all involved. Thank you.
