updated: excellent fast charging battery for Chromebooks and phones.
updated review:RAVPower contacted me and provided me with updated battery which properly sets UP bit and negotiates power with phones and Chromebooks. It charges Chromebooks at 40W (see pic) or more (depending on charge level and temperature) and phones at 15W or more which is really cool for a battery. The battery also charges at fast rate which is really great. I am impressed with RAVPower's response to the initial review and fixing the product. Other companies often ignore customer feedback so it is really refreshing to see a company which cares. If it wasn't for the initial problems this would be 5 star product from the beginning. I have bought other RAVPower products before (I love the flat GaN charger) and they were top notch quality.old review:The Unconstrained Power (UP) bit is not set so Chromebooks or any other device that honors USB-C spec will not charge from it. It will happily charge from Chromebook though so it you actually lose power. It also rejects power role swap, so when you ask the Chromebook in power settings menu to charge from the battery it rejects it.

Works great with Dell USB-C laptops
I've had this for a week or so now, and so I'm updating my review. Side note: I had some problems with the original one I received and had to do an exchange through Amazon, which went very smoothly, no problems. That delayed my testing somewhat.First, it works great with both my Dell USB-C laptops. It's able to provide 20V across the USB-C connector. It will charge the battery if it's not full. Better to use the external battery first though, you'll get more usable life if you don't use the external battery to charge the internal battery.Second, the battery bank can be charged in two ways: mini-USB or USB-C. I've done both. The USB-C will charge at about 30W, so a lot faster. Mini will only charge at about 10W, so this is really more of an overnight thing. Also one little tidbit: you can't charge the bank via the mini port while powering a device via USB-C.Now a word about capacity. From what I can tell, the 20,100 mAh is at 3.6 or 3.7V, which would translate into 72-74 Whr. Someone gave 72 in an answer, but 3.7V is kind of a standard cell voltage, which would be 74. However usable capacity will always be lower than theoretical capacity, and there are losses associated with up-volting.So at 20V, when powering a laptop, I've consistently gotten almost exactly 53Whr before the bank shut off.*Edit: It finally occurred to me to measure the Whr for a charge cycle, and it came out at 75.5Whr. There will be charging losses too, and the usable capacity will be lower than theoretical capacity. So add all that together, and I guess 53Whr makes sense. I wish it was more, but the law of entropy doesn't seem to care about my wishes. Now, what does this translate into as far as life on the Dell laptops? My testing has been with an Inspiron 13" 7000 2-in-1, with i7, 16GB RAM and 500GB SSD. Linux (Fedora 31) OS. Internal battery was always at or near 100% when connecting the external battery. (I also tested it with a Dell XPS 13 9350, and it charges it as well. However I haven't done more than just verify that it works with that laptop.)The majority of my tests were with fairly standard usage: web surfing, office stuff, some Node.js programming. With this kind of usage, I've typically gotten between 7 and 8 hours before the battery shuts off and the laptop goes on internal battery power.I did have a couple of tests with more extreme usage: sometimes I need to do .NET c# programming, and for this I run a VirtualBox Win10 guest on Fedora, using Visual Studio and SQL Server and a bunch of other stuff. This is pretty heavy on CPU. I've been getting between 3 and 4 hours when doing this. All in all I'm pleased. I've been wanting a USB-C bank that can run my laptop for quite a while, very happy to finally have one.

Fast Charging
I have had other portable chargers in the past that worked ok. But this one is different. The charging is fast, and the capacity is truly amazing. Have already tried it to charge my iphone 8 and my mac book. It works great. I liked the pouch that comes along with this, makes it easy to keep my charger away from scratches and wear and tear. The only slight drawback I felt is the size and weight, but I guess to get that capacity, the size is not too bad (compared to carrying two portable chargers of lesser capacity). Overall, a good purchase.

Great Charger
This is a great little (ok not tiny, but pretty little) charger. It holds a lot of power, and charges fast - especially with the usb-c to usb-c cable (which is included). The charger came in a nice box which was a pleasure to open. Unlike some products that are just haphazardly thrown into a box, this one felt more like opening a Macbook Pro (see pictures). It came with two cables AND a carrying case which is super convenient. It's covered in matte-black plastic (not shiny) so it doesn't end up covered in finger prints after a few days, and the logo is not colorful or pronounced so you can barely see it - it's a nondescript charger which I prefer. The USB-A (rectangular) port charges at a decent speed which I clocked at about 1.6A on my phone, but it's the power delivery aspect which really shines. Using the USB-C to USB-C cable I can get my Galaxy S8 to fast-charge. This brick also has a micro-usb port which is nice for backward-compatibility, but it also charges via the USB-C port so you can fill it up very fast. Overall this is exactly what I was looking for to give my phone, switch, and laptop a little extra life when I'm on the road.

Great Customer Service
I lived for this charger when I first bought it.Without it, my two-week trip would never have been complete. The charging speed and battery capacity are incredible. My friends and I noticed our phones were dying, so we took turns using the charger. In less than an hour, all four of our iphones were fully charged at close to 10 percent. To my surprise, the charger was powerful enough to charge four iphones. But now, my phone takes two days or more to fully charge, and I don't even need to charge it.Ravpower has provided me with excellent customer service. We solved my problem, and when the battery couldn't be repaired, they gave me a brand new battery for free. The new batteries are working fine and I thank them for taking immediate action!Companies that go further in customer service are always appreciated.

Great USB-C Power Bank at Good Price
Really nice battery pack holds a lot of power and recharges laptop with USBC in no time. The USBC input is quite fast, a full charge took around 3h-3:30h. I had a small issue with the fourth light blinking even when fully charged, I contacted RAVPower customer service and got an excellent after service, their agent informed me to simply discharge the battery completely and recharge again, this seems to reset the light indicators and my issue was gone.

Must have power bank for travelling
I was looking for a power bank for my Samsung S9. I charged my S9 twice and still the power bank has enough juice remain to recharge another 3 times. A carrying case and C-C cable is nice edition to the unit. I really like the fast charging feature of this unit.

Simple but does the job!
I'm using it as an external battery to keep my laptop running longer. So far it's doing a great job and looks to be very well built. Nothing fancy but it works great for my needs. It's also important to note that it's only 45W PD so it may not work with your device if it requires more power. Comes with cables and a carrying pouch, which is great as well. Overall, very satisfied with the product and price point.
