I don't find mine breaking easy, I can have a heavy touch sometimes. They are great for line drawing and even dark shading.

Good qualty leads

I write as much as I draw. I prefer the darker 2B for writing. It jumps off the page with maximum contrast which I prefer. Each must choose their own preference. I’ve tried other hardnesses for writing. The 2B is the perfect darkness for me. It just works the best. The HB is better for drawing in my opinion. The key to finding your own preference is trying different darknesses of leads. These aren’t very expensive so it is a small price to pay for finding the best lead for what you do. Give these a try and you will find something that is well made and versatile. You may find you like both.

Great product

I used to use them since my childhood. This time however I noticed a significant quality drop! Lots of stiff hard particles/sections. Not smooth. Breaks very easly.

Literally breaks every other letter most brittle lead I have ever used. Disappointing from a a generally good quality brand.
