It works
When I moved to a new apartment due to my shelving situation the ground on my Technics could not reach the ground on the receiver. Plus the fork broke off the Technics ground years ago. I dealt with some pretty bad hum for months before buying this thing. I simply wrapped the forkless ground coming out of the Technics to the end of this and connected the fork to the ground on the receiver. No more hum at all.
